49)Who's the real culprit?

"John, drive to Daisy's house..."
Thora said while getting into the car which was waiting for her.

"Yes, boss." John started the engine quickly.

"How do you know that Police are arresting Zayn at the hospital?" Thora asked with a straight face.

"Zuriel told me everything and she mentioned the case too, I have seen the picture of the culprit when Daisy said me about the case, she shown a picture of the culprit too and I know that Zayn is not the culprit. There must be some misunderstanding."
Clara informed while loading her gun.

"Who is the real culprit?"
Thora asked taking a glance at her.

"I'm not sure but I will recognize him if ones see his picture or something related," Clara said while Thora nodded.

"If he is not the criminal, why that fucking bitch is complaining on him?" Thora opened the window and let the fresh air blow in.

"I too know don't know why is she doing this." Clara sighed.

After a 30minutes long drive, they all got out of the car, and a loud thud was heard by everyone. Thora looked at Clara and she nodded in response before entering Daisy's house while being followed by John.
Before Thora could take a step her phone rang, she quickly picked up the call. "Zuriel."

"Zayn is under police custody, they arrested him as soon as the surgery was over."
Her whole world crashed down and her heart broke into pieces when she heard this.
She gulped as her throat was closing up when tried not to cry.

"Thora! catch him!" Thora looked at Clara when she heard her yell.

A man who was dressed in the whole black was passing Thora, she couldn't see his face as he was wearing a mask.

Clara slide on the slope from the balcony and shot the man's arm but he quickly got up and bumped into Thora's shoulder making her stumble backward and she gasped.
Clara jumped to the ground while Thora didn't do anything to stop him.

"He killed our only witness, Daisy." Thora came back out of her daze when she heard Clara, Clara was breathing heavily.

"What?" Thora asked with a blank face.

"He killed Daisy, I checked the pulses and she's no more," Clara informed, running her fingers in her hair.

"Boss! I performed the CPR and the pulses are back!" John yelled from the balcony.

Thora nodded while Clara paced into the house and Zuriel was still online. "Zuriel listen carefully, Alert all the hospitals in my location. A man in a whole black dress has been spotted in the arm area also he had a mole on his right wrist and stay online." Thora said while jogging into the house.

Thora saw Daisy's body in a pool of blood, she sat near her and checked her pulses, Daisy was passed out and she collapsed because of heavy blood loss.
There were gunshots on her right chest and stomach.

"She won't die."
Thora stood up and she snapped her fingers at John and he picked Daisy up in his arms.

"Zuriel, Daisy has been shotted in the right chest and stomach area. We are heading to the hospital now. Make sure Jacob is ready to perform the surgery."
She hung up.

"Stop worrying Zuriel, she will be alright. The bullets didn't go deeper and we can perform surgery." Jacob patted Zuriel's shoulder who was feeling so down and he turned around to leave.

She back hugged him, freezing his footsteps. "What's wrong?"
Jacob asked turning around to face her.

"I have to go to the court regarding Zayn's case, please be safe. I will come back soon." Zuriel caressed his cheek with sad eyes as tears formed in her eyes.

"I will be safe, don't worry about me. Okay?" Jacob removed her hand and placed a kiss on it.

"I love you and I'm always here for you," Jacob squeezed her hand in comforting her.

"I hate you, bye-bye." Zuriel smiled brightly and hugged him.

"Wow, I thought you will confess but anyway I have to leave for the surgery." Jacob pecked her cheek before leaving.

Thora and Clara were also heading outside but Zuriel blocked Thora's way," what?"
She looked at her with a frown.

"Did you eat anything?"
She enquired.

"No..." Thora answered looking away.

"What about you?" Zuriel glanced at Clara while she shook her head as no.

"Let's go to eat."

"But we need to find the evidence within 24 hours. Already 4 hours are over." Clara started and stepped forward to leave but Zuriel grabbed her right arm to stop her.

"But you have to have the energy to do whatever the fuck you want, and in just five minutes, nothing is going to get ruined." Clara sighed and looked at Thora while she nodded.

"Finally, stubborn bitches." Zuriel rolled her eyes while picking up her phone.

"John, get two chicken sandwiches." She hung up.

"I have to go to the court, you guys have to eat first," Zuriel warned them before leaving.

"No you are eating with us too."
Thore commanded.

"Ah.... John make it three chicken Sandwiches. You too get some for yourself." She informed on phone.
