Chapter 5.
"Hello Gab. Sure, no worries. I'll go :))"
I don't know if this is the right thing to do pero as soon as I got home, ito agad ang nireply ko kay Gab. Now that I feel like we are that close, yes it feels surreal and I'm happy but I don't know why I got this peculiar feeling that I can't put into words. Am I confused or what?
With that thought in my mind I fell asleep. Andaming bumabagabag sa utak ko lately. From my literary analysis na tinatapos ko to what happened to Deborah and Gab back then and this.
Christmas eve is near. Today is December 20th. Pumunta ako sa campus para ipasa tong literary analysis ko for our final requirement. I am not sure kung nandito yung iba kong mga kaibigan but I'm hoping na nandito si Janine para somehow may kasama ako.
Yngrid Caroline: Hiii Ja, bestie. Andito ka ba sa campus?
Janina Rosalyn: loe beh Yca wla eh
Yngrid Caroline: huh?
Labyu Yca, u know that.
Yngrid Caroline: Oki oki no worries. See you when I see you.
Ganto ba talaga pag kausap mo future husband mo emz.
"Ahh hindi naman. May errands lang and it happens that I see you're here. Wow salamat, very thoughtful.
"Do you have anything to do pagkatapos mo magpasa? I heard last na ninyo yan for this sem."
"You've heard? From who naman?"
"Hmm from your closest friend, I guess.", He let out a little chuckle. Mas kinapogi niya yung pagtawa niya. Lord, ano na namang pagsubok ito.
"Haynako si Janine talaga but yeah I'm free naman. Bakit?"
"Pwede ka ba isama for lunch?"
"Sige.
"Okay then. I'll wait here outside the office. Btw, that coffee is not yours. Bigay mo kay Sir pampa-good shot. He will remember you because of that.", Okay binabawi ko na di siya pogi and di good samaritan.
Inabot ko yung kape like Gab said and umalis na rin ako agad. Pisteng yawa, lakas mang asar talaga. When he saw me, nagyaya na siyang umalis for lunch.
"Tara na?", Umirap lang ako at nagkibit-balikat.
"Don't be like that Yca. I'll buy you coffee later. Dapat nga mag thank you ka, I'm helping you with your grades.
They serve mainly korean cuisine, of course pabor sakin to.
"Yca...", the way he said my name. There's something. I know that this lunch is not that usual eat-out.
"... I just want to say sorry. I'm so insensitive with what I said sa Batangas and napagtaasan pa kita ng boses."
