The tears just wouldn't stop flowing. How could have they left her here, alone, what wrong had she done? And why did it happen today of all days. "Its all my fault" she thought, after all they were coming here to see her. This was Rita Williams, daughter of one of the most successful business man and pagent winning model. So naturally, as all rich people's children do she was sent off to boarding school at the age of nine.

Now don't get me wrong just because her parents sent her away didn't mean that they didn't love her or that she didn't return the emotion, they sent her away because it was the proper thing to do. In a world like hers one cherishes the time one spend with their families, it's a luxury to be able to see them with their hectic schedules.
Her parents had been coming to see her when their car had collided with the truck. She had a sickening guilty feeling in her chest. She quickly dried her tears as she heard voices come down the hall including the one she dreaded listening to now. Looking back on a conversation not long before.
Flashback
"Yes sir, you called for me " said Rita. "Indeed Miss Williams and this time I'm afraid I have to be the bearer of ill news", he said, "I'm afraid your parents were killed in a car crash on the way here". She didn't have the time to be shocked when he said the words "I'm afraid you must be taken out of the school, as you can no longer afford it".
This couldn't be happening, apparently the theory of pulling the band aid off faster createing less pain was obviously said by a person who had never experienced pain. Nevertheless the first thing her parents had taught her was to be emotionless and never let other people know of your fears or they could take advantage off you. This was a very common teaching in the ruthless business world.

Rita simply nodded stoically, "I suppose I must pack my bags". He nodded in a soft affirmative. "Just one question sir, where will I be staying after..." "You will be sent to a charity orphanage at the request of your housekeeper who was selected by your parents as your guardian, apparently she wants nothing to do with you."

She nodded just about to leave the room to go cry when he said the words "I'm sorry".
She finally lost that one share of control shedding one tear after the other facing the wall; still unwilling to seem weak.

End of flashback
So this was her life now. There was no option left for her. What was the point in all the accomplishments of hers when now they were all waste. These were her exact thoughts while boarding the bus that would take her to the place she was to call home until she was eighteen. Then they would desert her as well.
