My Scary Life

(Chapter 3)

The black begins to fade away as I slowly open my eyes, but I'm surprised when I'm met with 2 people staring down at me!I yelped in surprise and tried to back away from them, only to quickly realize that I was sitting against a wall. Oh god, I'm DEAD!

"Hey don't be afraid!" One of the people said. Now that I'm getting a better look at them, one seems to be a girl with dirty blonde hair, and a lab coat with matching goggles on top of her head. Speaking of her head, her eyes are unique, one is a brilliant bright blue, but the other is white. I wonder if she's blind? The other is a man who looks to be around my age, but he's wearing an orange jumpsuit with the number 2 on it. Strange I wonder what that means? I'll have to ask later. He also has brown hair, and one red eye and the other eye is blue.

"Yeah we won't hurt you, see," the girl said while taking something out of her lab coat, it was a bottle with a pink glowing liquid. "It's a potion of healing, here drink up! It'll help you regain your strength!" She handed me the potion and I instantly downed it, and all the aches in my body suddenly disappeared.

"Thanks." It's all I could muster, after all, I still didn't know their names, or if I could fully trust them. "What are your names?"

"Oh, uuhhh, call me Test Steve," The male, or I guess Test Steve said with some hesitance, I saw the girl look over at him with a hint of sorrow and pity.

"Right, and I'm Eve." The scientist, doctor looking lady said. "And who might you be?"

"Im EyStreem, but please call me Ey," I said with a smile, they didn't seem like bad people at all. I am fairly positive I can trust them.

"Right then Ey it's nice to meet you!" Test Steve said while offering his hand for me to get up, and I gladly take it. The ground was so cold, but his hand was so warm, he pulled me right to my feet, but he overestimated his strength, and nearly pulled me into him! I think I saw a light dusting of pink on his cheeks as he muttered a quick sorry before continuing. "We have a lot to talk about, but I hope we can be friends."

"Yes, we do have much to do and so little time, TIME TO TRAIN!" Shouted Eve.

"Wait train, what for?" I question, "I just woke up, what's she on about? And now that I think about it, where's that dude who sucker punched me, I gotta give a piece of my mind for pulling that!!" They both look at me with mixed expressions.

"Like Test Steve said there's a lot to discuss, and I promise all your questions will be answered, but for now we need your help Ey." Eve said with a new found seriousness.

"Yeah you might have freed us but you also, accidentally might I add, freed a really bad guy, and if we don't hurry and put an end to him, he'll corrupt and destroy the entire world!" Test Steve finished the explanation with haste and though he was trying to be nice, I could help but feel overwhelmed and also guilty. I had just released an evil onto this world, I just got out of the house not even a week ago, and I already screwed the world!

"I'll help. So where do we begin!" I proudly state. Eve and Test Steve instantly beam, like they were glowing. I was going to help them, no matter the cost, no matter the risk or the danger. This was my mistake and I was going to fix it! Look out evil guy, whoever you are, I'm coming for ya!
