My Scary Life

(Chapter 6)

!!JUST AS A WARNING THERE MIGHT BE GORE MENTIONS (also this is my first time writing a battle scene so it might suck) YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!

Chapter 6) Me Test Steve and Eve all exited the swirling portal just to be met with these giant corrupted golems! And before we could get our bearings one of the golems grabs Eve and tosses her back through the portal! And as if that wasn't bad he then broke the portal stranding me and Test Steve in the Corrupt dimension. As Test Steve and I stare at the now broken portal frame we hear maniacal laughter coming from behind us, and I turn around only to see none other than Corrupt Steve himself!

"YOu FOOLS!! hAHaaHaa! yOu SHoUldN'T hAVe CoME! PrEParE tO DIE!!!" His voice, it was so broken and deep it sounded like a glitched out song from a jukebox. But it didn't take away how menacing he was just FLOATING there in the sky infront of Test Steve and I. But I wasn't nearly as scared as I should have been. Is he seriously underestimating us?! I thought furiously, can't wait to see his face when we defeat him. I knew Test Steve felt the same way, because as soon as he finished talking I looked over at Test Steve and we both wore a pair of matching grins, he's gonna eat those words! And with our weapons drawn the fight began!

I aimed my bow and shot down a golem, right in its ugly corrupted eye, and took aim at another one. It hit and the golem shut down. But before I could load another arrow a golem got too close and it swung its massive fist at me, I attempted to dodge but I was too slow! It struck my chest with a tremendous force that I swore I heard a cracking sound.

"Ey!" I heard Test Steve scream just before he leapt between me and the golem that was readying another punch, and with 2 quick slices it fell. "You good?" He asked, voice laced with concern.

"Yeah don't worry 'bout me." I said as I knocked and launched another arrow at a golem coming up behind Test Steve. However that was a slight lie, my ribs were killing me, but I couldn't stop now, we had to beat Corrupt Steve. So we turned towards our foe, and we both heard him growl in frustration that was until his sick and evil grin returned as he launched his own attack against us. Extending both his arms out a black tarry substance shot outwards and down straight for me and Test Steve! I jumped back while Test Steve just lifted his foot up, but put it down on the dark corrupted tentacles and I saw it was a solid. So he began to run up the tentacle in front of him, sword drawn while I ran up mine with my bow in one hand and an arrow in the other. But Corrupted Steves grin never vanished even as we both raced towards him, instead he produced a glowing gem in his hand and threw it at us! It exploded which sent waves of pain through me, but it also sent me and Test Steve spiraling through the air! We would have plummeted to our deaths if I hadn't pulled out my ender pearl I snatched from one of Eve's chests. I quickly grabbed onto Test Steve and threw the pearl. When we landed, and the world finally stopped spinning, I let go of Test Steve's waist, only for Corrupt Steve to pop up behind us! Test Steve brought out his sword and charged at Corrupt Steve, but before I could fire an arrow Corrupt Steve produced another gem and launched it at Test Steve. And much to my horror it exploded and launched Test Steve off the side of the structure we were standing on! Then Corrupt Steve turned to me and threw yet another gem, but I was ready this time. As soon as he threw it, I loosed an arrow and returned the gem to its sender. The gem exploded, knocking Corrupt Steve back and out of the sky! But before I could check to see if he was dead or not I had to check on Test Steve! Hesitant I peeked over the edge, and thankfully Test Steve was there, but he looked hurt. So I hopped down to try and help him, but now that I was closer to him I could see small scratches and some larger cuts, all leaking blood, but at least he wasn't dead, but his skin was charred from 2 gem explosions, but alive nonetheless.

"Ey, you have to stop him.." he said weakly, I guess exhaustion from our fight is begging to catch up to him.

"I'm not going without you! Besides, I don't know where he went!" I was also exhausted and exasperated, but I wasn;t going to leave him behind in the Corrupt dimension!

"You have to!" He tried to raise his voice, but failed miserably. "Here, take this, stop him, for me, for Eve, for everyone!" He pulled out a blue glowing gem, and from Eve's story it had to be a Matter gem. I was hesitant to grab it, but he was right, I had to stop Corrupt Steve or I'd never see any of my friends again. And so I took the gem from my injured friend and went over to where Corrupt Steve fell, but much to my surprise I saw this white swirling portal-like thing. Must be where he flew off to, oh well guess I'm going in too. Let's hope it's not a trap, I thought with worry and misery. Taking one last look behind me to my fallen comrade, I'll end him, for you" I said, before jumping into the portal, and while my vision faded to white, but was quickly restored to me. As I gazed around at my new surroundings, I couldn't help but notice it looked like a lab of some sorts? I was in the middle of a long white hallway with sea lantern lights, at one end of the tunnel was a pair of big, reinforced iron doors. Imma bet 10 diamonds that's where Corrupt Steves at. So I began walking towards the door, thinking back to when I first found the village, how I had met Test Steve and Eve, all the training I did, just to prepare for this moment! Standing face to face with these iron doors, I gave them the biggest shove I could muster and stepped inside of the room, ready to end the battle and the war with Corrupt Steve. "This is it, Corrupt Steve, the final battle, hope you're ready cause HERE I COME!"
