It has been a few days since me and Ithil last saw each other. I cannot say I miss her, but I also can't deny my mind doesn't wander to her from time to time. Even tho I don't have too much time for that at moment. After all, planning a ball needs concentration.
I was standing alone in a humongous hall, walking between the few placed tables and thinking about the decorations.
Even tho everything set together perfectly already, it felt plain and boring. There was not much decoration, the dark wooden parquet was only missing couples dancing on it and the tables with white roses on the sides were missing food. Other then that, there wasn't much to add.
"Maybe I shouldn't worry about it...,, I mumbled to myself before leaving the hall and closing the door behind me.
"Adriana?,, I called out for one of the maids. Not too long after, a short ginger woman in her early 20's showed up before me. "Can you tell Michael that the ball is ready please?,, I asked nicely. Adrianna quickly nodded and was about to leave before I stopped her for one more thing.
"Also, you're invited to the ball.,, "But miss I will be already at the ball, I'm supposed to help with the environment after all.,, I could sense she was confused and lost in my words.
"I'm inviting you as a guest, you've been working hard while most of the maids sit around, you should have some time for yourself too.,, Even tho the happiness in her eyes was impossible to overlook, she just bowed, saying a quiet 'Thank you miss' under her breath and leaving.
It didn't take long for Michael to come to me to discuss some details for the ball. Michael was my parents 'Right hand' he used to look over me when I was little. And even tho he does look like a nice person, he was awkward when having to take care of my childhood self. Mostly we were reading or he was a victim of mine and Adriana's jokes. If it was switching book covers which ended up in him not being able to find some information for quite some time or secretly flipping his desk.

"I'll go with the red one, I like it more.,, Lisa just nodded and went to get some jewelry to make it fit, while I changed into the dress and looked into the mirror. (I THOUGHT I HAD A PICTURE OF ITHIL IN THE DRESS BUT TURNS OUT I DON'T I'M SORRY Y'ALL) The dress was to the floor, dragging some of the fabric on the floor behind me. It also had a V cut, showing off my cleavage a bit, but of course I didn't mind.
