Betty Cooper: Gryffindor
Jughead Jones: Slytherin
Archie Andrews: Gryffindor
Veronica Lodge: Ravenclaw
Toni Topaz: Slytherin/Hufflepuff 

(This is up for debate if you believe they are other houses we can discuss changing that for the rp)

Betty, Archie and Jughead met on the hogwarts train in their first year. All very anxious very different 11 year olds.

Betty was the bright eyed hopeful half blood always talkative and glad to be away from her sweet but over protective parents

Archie was the curious and chaotic red head muggle born. His hair wild, his passion for quidditch not yet unlocked.

And Jughead was the quiet raven haired pure blood. He might be a pure blood but the Jones family's reputation proceeded him, whispers of his father being a follower of Voldemort had been circulating the wizard img world for years.

The three first years excitedly chattered on the train enjoying the trip to Hogwarts together.

However they soon grew apart or rather Jughead grew apart from them as Betty and Archie where sorted both into Gryffindor and he into Slytherin they didn't have much to do with each other anymore.

Their 7th year at hogwarts Betty is a prefect and a top student. A ever present yet fading crush on her best friend Archie Andrews and a relatively social character.

Jughead is clever, cleverer than he lets on yet is absorbed in the world of solitude and the occasional interaction with the 'serpents' at hogwarts.

Betty gave up nodding at Jughead on the moving stair case a few years ago. She still notices him though.
Notices how he whispers all the right answers under his breath in class especially in charms.
Notices how tired he looks all the time.
Notices how when he turns up he is undefeated in duelling club.

Yet what she doesn't notice is that he notices her too. When she turns her head his eyes often flicker towards her.

When Betty for the first time on record revives a detention cleaning professor Snapes office wandless she is almost unsurprised when Jughead Jones his green tie askew his raven hair a mess turns up to her very same detention. After a few detentions The two begin to rekindle their relationship but when Slytherin's very own Quidditch Captain Jason Blossom is mysteriously killed Hogwarts needs an investigative duo.

And who better than the polar opposite investigative duo.
