Chapter 16 Love Me Like You Do

Katniss POV

"Katniss, come on. You gotta go to school." mom says pulling the covers from me.

"No mom! I'm still sick." I say crawling into a ball and closing my eyes. She groans and takes my pillow too. "Mom!"

"Get out of bed and get ready for school! Now!" she says before leaving my room. I whine and sit up, looking around my trashed room. I haven't left since seeing Peeta at the mall. Annie gave up on trying to get my out again too. I get out of bed and walk to the bathroom, looking in the mirror. God....I look like death. I shake my head and brush my hair, making it look somewhat good then putting it into a simple ponytail. I brush my teeth and put only little makeup on. I don't really mind how I look right now. "You getting ready?" mom asks looking in.

"Yes mom." I say. She nods and leaves so I walk back to my room, putting on some faded jeans and a white t-shirt. Over that a green hoodie and my black shoes. I grab my bag, making sure everything is in it before I walk down to the living room. "I'm going now."

"Wait! Here." mom rushes in with a bag. "Something to eat. Have a good day."

"I will. Bye, love you." I say before leaving. I walk down the sidewalk, looking around to the others with they're friends. As I walk I take out my phone and put my earphones in. I scroll through my songs and pick Love me Like You Do by Ellie Goulding.

I stop only to notice I'm already at school. What? I pull out my earphones and pack them away. That song....that.....one song. It reminds me of....Peeta. I do want him to love me the way he does. With passion, care and love. I know that....I love Peeta. I love him. Not hate him. And I have to do everything to get him back.
