Nova was the one sat at the desk, feet propped up on the desk.
"Mr Grayson! What a pleasant surprise. You can leave, dark statues, I'm sure we'll be fine." The guards left the room, leaving Dick and Nova alone.
"What are you doing here?" Dick hissed, scowling.
"Shouldn't I be asking you that, Dick? You got yourself arrested and are this close," She held her fingers a millimetre apart, "to being forced into permanent solitary confinement, and I know for a fact that isn't your thing."
"I'm doing what I deserve. Sentencing myself." He replied.
"Yeah, I don't see it. Sure, you blame yourself for Jericho's death, but that doesn't mean that you leave everyone who needs you behind."
"That's what you did." He turned to someone beside him, "No, I don't like her, now shut up!" Raising her eyebrows, Nova realised what was going on, waving to thin air.
"Hello, Bruce!" Dick's head snapped to where he was looking before, startled.
"You see him too?"
"Who doesn't?"
"Why are you really here?"
"I'm here to make sure you don't kill yourself in here. Plus, before they escort you to solitary again, I saw something really strange. Slade used sign language."
"And?"
"Who did we use to know used to use sign language?"
Dick turned to thin air again. "Oh, shut up! Why won't you go away?!"
"Bruce won't go away until you tell the truth. Now, tell me what I want to hear. We both know where this will lead." The Grayson's eyes widened, realising what she was implying.
"You mean..."
"I mean it. I don't have the authorisation to let you out, so you're going to have to figure that out by yourself."
