Chapter 11

I had the same weird dream. But I woke up early because I was scared and excited to run the maze. I walked over to Minho. "What do I do," I asked. "first take this," he said handing me a medium sized knife. "Next are you a good runner," he asked I shrugged my shoulders. "I guess we'll find out," he said. "We only have a few rules. Stay with me if we get attacked don't stop running and don't look back," he said I booked my head. "Since this is your first day just follow what we do and tomorrow you can try it for yourself," he said I nodded again. "Okay now we wait." he said. Then the huge stone doors opened reveling the maze. "Let's go," Minho yelled. Then we started running. Into the maze taking sharp turns left and right. Minho cutting off vines and laying them on the path. Wow pretty smart idea. We ran all around. It was amazing I loved it I felt free. I kept up with Minho pretty well only falling a few feet behind. I was a little out of breath but I'm not stopping now I love this. After an hour of running but it only felt like second we stopped. "This is were we eat," Minho said. I nodded and sat down my back against the wall. I opened my pack and eat an apple. Minho sat close to me. "How you liking it so far Greenie," he asked. "I love it," I said looking around it was really nice actually. "Great well it gets harder just warning you," he said. I nodded. I thought about the grebes I herd of. They sound horrible and I don't want to even see one. I heard them and I decently don't want to be seeing one. Soon we where done and getting to run again. Suddenly we heard a loud piercing sound. The same one I heard before. "Oh shuck come one," Minho said. But I don't move I heard something behind me. I turned around and saw the most ugly slimed furry scary thing I have ever seen. It was horrifying. No words could describe it. "Come on Arden," Minho yelled to me. But I don't move I was frozen with fear.
