Chapter 55

The grivers hand reached in and grabbed Chuck. "No!" Thomas screamed. He jumped up and grabbed him hand and started pulling him in. "Thomas!" I yelled running over letting go of Newt. I held Chucks hand. "Chuck don't let go." Thomas said. As I strained my muscles to hold on. "No shit!" He said. I would have laughed but not at this time. Soon the grivers stinger came out to stun him. "No!" I screamed pulling Chuck even harder. Then out of no where Alby came with a big stick and started beating the stinger till it feel off and the griver let go of Chuck making fall on my and Thomas with an oomph. Soon all was silent all was heard was our breathing. They must have left. We all got up and looked at Alby who looked mad. But soon the griver grabbed in again this time grabbing Alby. "No!" We all screamed. Thomas grabbed onto him but he was much heavier. "Thomas get them out." Alby said then let go. One last scream from Thomas. Then it was silent again. This time for good. Alby was gone. They took him. No other boys. It was all too much. We all walked out to see the mess. Things where on fire. Including the map room. Everything was broken. It made my heart feel heavy. Like I couldn't carry it around anymore. Soon we saw Gally come out looking mad as ever with a few other boys walking behind him. He came up and punched Thomas right in the face. "Hey!" I yelled walking over to Thomas. Soon a big fight broke out between Thomas and Gally. Till Thomas was quite. He looked at him hand that hand the grivers stinger in his hand. Gally was still yelling about who knows what. "He's right." Thomas whispered. "No Thomas don't." I said finally realizing what he was gonna do. But he plunged the stinger into his thigh. "No!" I yelled running to his side as I saw his eyes close.
