Leah sat there in silence, just staring at the door that Seb had slammed behind him.  What the hell had just happened?  Did Seb really think that there was something going on between her and Daniel?  As for going to him for comfort instead of Daniel...she hadn't known she was going to get upset! Daniel had just been there.

She didn't know how to feel about Seb's attitude. Part of her was upset that he was angry at her and part of her was fuming that he'd not even given her a chance to explain.

The door opened again and Tamara walked in. She sat down at her desk and looked up at Leah.

"I saw a certain German leaving. He didn't look very happy. Everything ok?"

"Not really Tamara, no." The blonde raised her eyebrows.

"Want to talk about it?"

"To be honest I don't really know what the fuck is going through his head."

"Sweetie, he's a man. They say us women are complex creatures but they're worse."

"After you and Jenna left breakfast this morning I saw Daniel."

"Yeah,  I saw him crossing the lobby."

"Anyway,  he joined me and we got talking. He said that Seb had told him he'd asked me to St Tropez. I don't know why,  but things just seemed to hit me and I began to stress about all the attention I'd get from the press if Seb and I became public, amongst other things, and I got upset. Daniel comforted me."

"He's a big mouth but he's a decent guy. What's this got to do with Seb though?"

"Well Daniel hugged me and he kissed the top of my head. Apparently someone saw and told Seb. He was really pissed off.  He was convinced there was something between me and Daniel."

Tamara looked at her incredulously.

"That's the biggest crock of shit I've heard in a long time.  You and Daniel? Doesn't Seb realise you're crazy about him?"

"Obviously not," Leah said dryly.

"Who the fuck told him anyway?"

"No idea.  Anyway,  I tried telling him Daniel was just being a friend, that I'd been upset.  He didn't want to listen.  He just spouted something about how I was supposed to go to him if I was upset, not Daniel.   I tried to get through to him but he stormed out.  I don't even know if we're still together or not."

"Wow, someone is obviously on their 'man period'!"  Leah laughed softly, although it wasn't really a laughing matter. "He'll come round girl.  He's crazy about you.  His ego just took a bruising.   He'll soon realise that you're not that kind of girl.  And Daniel's his friend.  He wouldn't do that either."  Leah nodded uncertainly.

"I'm kind of pissed off to be honest.  He wouldn't listen, surely I have a right to defend myself.  And it's not the first time he's jumped to the wrong conclusion.  He saw me with Joel in Spain and thought I had another man."

"As I said.  He's a man. Give him space.  He'll soon come crawling back.   Now, tonight.  Dinner with me and Jenna? Or do you have plans?"

"No plans. I was waiting for Seb to say something about dinner but you know what? Fuck him.  I'd love to have dinner with you and Jenna."

"Brilliant.  And chick, don't worry about Seb.  He'll soon be calling begging for forgiveness."

Leah sighed.  Maybe he would. Maybe he wouldn't. It wouldn't change what had happened.  She'd seen a sign of Seb that she didn't like.   Not the jealousy and possessiveness, that was hot.  The stubbornness and refusal to listen.
