Yeah, this game really hooked me. It hooked me so hard I couldn't ignore the urge to write about it, so here it is.

Backstory:
You were a normal kid who didn't have the greatest relationship with your parents.

You ran away from home and ended up on the same boat the Mafia were using.

To avoid most likely dying you offered your services and began working for them.

You then sort of became the Mafia's enforcer/delivery boy, you'd deliver messages and packages to Mafia members or enforce mafia law.

This lead to you having multiple encounters with Mustache Girl and developing a rivalry, actually she calls you her rival, you just don't care.

You don't really want to serve the Mafia, but you have nowhere else to go, you also don't want to join Mustache Girl's Rebellion because not every Mafia member is a bad person and it's clear to you her plans for revenge go too far.

Your Powers and Abilities:
You are extremely fast and agile being able to Parkour at such a young age.

You're also a lot stronger than you look, able to actually punch a mafia member in the gut so hard he actually throws up. So you're not insanely strong but stronger than a kid.

You grew up in extremely cold conditions and thus have little to no reaction in freezing tundras or extremely cold climets.

Your main weapon however lies in your gun.

This gun was given to you by the Mafia Boss as a reward for becoming an enforcer and delivery boy.

It came from one of his massive piles of treasure and you soon discovered it had magical properties.

The symbol on the side of the gun changes between six special bullet types.

Not only that but once you fire enough shots from a certain bullet type they'll become charged and shoot out upgraded versions of themselves.

Later in the story, you'll also develop supers which take a bit out of you but not too much to render you defenseless.

Imagine the 1st super as a red beam of energy:

When each of your supers are about to be initiated your left eye glows a certain color

Personality:
You're a very upbeat and cheerful individual and you take your job as the Mafia's enforcer and delivery boy so seriously.

Even if it means being a bit of a jerk you'll do your best to serve them, though you still wish they could be a bit nicer.

While you are a kind person, there's an old saying: "It's the Kindest people you don't want to make angry."

That saying very much applies to you, it may take a lot to anger you, but if someone does, you will make them regret it.

You're also super lonely and so you appreciate any real friends you might make, you'll do all that you can to protect them.

You love music and can't help but dance every time you hear a great song or music.

I feel a bit bad, I keep saying I'm gonna hold off on new stories but seriously, this game is a must play if you're into 3D platformers.

I never played Mario 64 or any old Nintendo games, and I really feel like A Hat in Time, at least visually does a good job of emulating Mario 64 while still staying unique and good on it's own.

As I said I never played Mario 64 so I can't speak for the game play, but anyway I'm really excited for this story.

I seriously love this game.
