Sa taas ng sikat ng araw nang hapon na 'yon, hindi aakalain ni Summer na babagsak ang naglalakasang ulan dahilan para pumunta sila sa tirahan niya para roon magpatila.

Pinagpag ni Ren ang ulo ng mascot pati na rin ang over all costume nito.

"Where's your boyfriend? Bakit 'di ka man lang sunduin?" may bahid ng inis na tanong nito na nakapagpahinto kay Summer sa pagtitimpla ng hot choco.

"What?"

"Genro."

She can't help but to burst out laughing. Napaka-joke time!

"He's just joking that time."

Napaisip si Ren bago bumuntong hininga ng may mapagtanto.

She looked at the yellow bear costume.

"Why are you wearing that mascot? Ayaw mo sa kanila 'diba?"

Nakita niya ang paglunok ni Ren. "Trip ko lang?" hindi nito siguradong sagot, para ngang ginaya lang nito ang salita ni Zestro sa tuwing may trip na gawin.

"You must accompany Rain, not me."

"She's my friend."

"Your girlfriend," pagdidiin niya para maitatak na rin niya sa utak niya. Ang hirap pala kalimutan ng isang Warren Garcia! 

She heard him chuckled. "Friend."

Friend? Is he serious?

May pag-asang tanong niya sa sarili.

Marupok!

Rinig niya kahit wala naman si Fallera sa tabi.

Lumapit si Ren sa kanya at sumandal sa may tapat ng lababo. "You did well in continuing that hell course. . . you did well on being a daughter to them. . . you're still surviving, Summer."

Nahinto ang ginagawa niya, did Ren know...? Did he hear all the hurtful words that her auntie spits on her?

Nang makumpirang alam na nito ang tungkol sa pamilya niya ay unti-unting tumango si Ren. "It's okay to cry, don't bottle up your feelings. You can freely express it to me. Pwedeng-pwede kang magsumbong sa 'kin." 

Hindi na pinigilan ni Summer ang pagbuhos ng luha mula sa kanyang mga mata.

Ren softly hold her waist and he fixed her long hair to calm her. "There's nothing wrong on being sad, there's nothing wrong on crying."

She started to cry like a baby, for pete's sake! Mukha na siyang batang inagawan ng donut!

"Sometimes I hate seeing you smile. . . " he admitted. "Because most of the time your smile is just a mask to your tears and silent cries. I'm proud of you Summer always."

Hindi naman nakakatulong, Ren!

Mas lalo lang akong nahuhulog, I can't pull myself because I will surely fall just for you!

"Then answer me yellow bear. . . why are you still here despite of everything? Do you still love me?"

Naramdaman ni Summer ang paglagay ni Ren ng kanang kamay niya sa dibdib nito. "It still here. . .  It didn't change. It still beats for you."

In just a snapped, Ren suddenly lift her up in the mest.

They tasted each other lips like there's no tommorow.

Napahinto lang sila ng parehas na silang nangangailangan ng hangin.

Idinikit ni Ren ang noo nito sa kanya habang nakapikit at may mabigat na paghinga, "Control, Ren," pagpapakalma nito sa sarili na ikinangiti ni Summer.

"Why?" she inquired while her eyes are also closed. They just feel the peace between them after the long passionate kiss that they shared.

"I promised one thing."

"What?"

"That..." nahihirapan nitong sambit na para bang hindi sigurado.

"What?"

"We'll make love again when we are already married."

Can he really make it? 

Dumilat si Ren at masuyo siyang pinagmasdan. "But before that, let's chase our dreams first."

He suddenly stole a kiss on her cheek! Sneaky Ren!

"I look like a mess," sambit ni Summer na nahihiya na.

Napailing si Ren. "Crushed and ruined Summer is not bad at all."

Inilagay nito ang magkabilang kamay sa lamesa at mas inilapit pa ang distansya sa kanya kahit na nakaupo siya sa lamesa. "You know what are the reasons why we broke apart?"

She nodded.

"Our relationship is not God centered," they both said in unison. "It is self-centered."

"Now we know what we need to do," ani Ren bago siya ulit halikan ng mabilis sa labi. "Let's cry and laugh together with him. Let's do that, love," he added before kissing her again and again.

Note: Wala sa plano kong maging ganito ka-clingy si Ren, huwag niyo akong sisihin. Gumalaw siyang mag-isa, may isip siya! 🌞
