it hits different when you thought you have someone who will be there for you
you just kind of trust that someone is on your side, no matter how strange things may seem so.
you thought the world was against you, but it's all right.
because you've always had a safe haven—someone who has always been your home
and then one day you just bump into a different chaos trying to break you apart,
you thought you can be fine as you always think you still have that someone
until you find out— your human shield— has been a fake sanctuary after all
you've been betrayed by the person you thought only blood separates you apart
you've been fooled by the fake comfort— the lies
and you have no choice but to deal with it until it breaks your heart a lot more than any chaos— again and again
tears keep streaming down as you keep convincing yourself it was for the good
no one wants you to get hurt— but you know what?
it hurts you a hundred times more than anything that breaks you apart before
your heart has been crushed to the core and you're left with the blank stares and fake laugh
and sometimes you kind of wonder— why?
is it fun fooling people around?
