growing up
a terrible yet inevitable phenomenon
we live each day like the one before
unaware that the wheels of time are constantly turning
slowly but surely
one moment we're playing in the sandpit in kindergarten
the other we're throwing our caps up at the graduation ceremony
leaving us to wonder where the time went
