At the feast, with the Weasleys arriving.

Ron and Ginny: *sees the Potter twins sat at the table and walks over to them then says at the same time* Where the hell were you?!
Harry: The barrier sealed itself before we could go through.
Hermione: Uncle sev came through and got us here by floo.
Ginny: *sits down and shakes her head* That bloody elf.
Harry: What do you mean Ginny?
Ginny: Malfoy's elf, Dobby. I would bet my pocket money that it was him who sealed you out.
Pansy: I don't think Dobby would defy his masters like that.
Harry: You mean the elf that went out of his way to tell me not to come back to Hogwarts?
Pansy: ...Good point.
Hermione: So what do we do about it?
Harry: We keep our mouths shut.
Ron: Are you sure Harry?
Harry: Yeah, it's not like we have proof, and then we would have to admit to meeting Dobby before.
Pansy: *smirks* Or you just don't want to get him in trouble.
Hermione: You always did have a soft spot for elves.
Ginny: I agree with Harry through. If we tell someone that elf could have serious harm done.
Ron: Ok we won't tell.

After potions the next day.

Snape: Potters, Parkinson. A word.
Harry: *to Ron and Ginny* We'll catch up with you after.
Ginny and Ron: Ok, see you. *leaves*
Snape: I went to the barrier and discovered a sealing charm was placed on it. You wouldn't know who sealed it would you?
Harry and Hermione: *uses occlumency*
Pansy: *starts singing "I love you" from Barney the Dinosaur in her mind*
Snape: Interesting attempt at occlumency Ms Parkinson. Strange but effective nonetheless. Your reluctance to tell me let's me know that there is no ill intentions, that they are an innocent soul. Very well, I shall let the matter rest for now. Be on your way.
Harry, Hermione and Pansy: *leaves*
