Minho couldn't understand what's gotten into him. He was actually going to the person the kid had recommended. He wasn't even heartbroken.
Sure, he was hella confused, but that had nothing to do with Jisung making out with someone.Maybe it was some kind of parental feeling, seeing Jisung jump over his fears and do what he wants to. Minho had been telling himself that for two days now. His mind hadn't formed a single thought about anything but this. It was a plaque he couldn't get rid of.
And he tried everything. Going to the gym, boxing, studying for school, hanging out with other people –but nothing worked. So he hoped for whoever might be behind the dorm room could take his mind off things. He knocked and took a deep breath.
"Gimme two seconds!" A voice sing-sang from the other side. A male. Minho noted that down somewhere in his head.
The door flew open. A black-haired, tall male stuck his head out. "Bonjour stranger!"
Minho was more than surprised, he had expected someone very different. "Hi?" Minho said.
This wasn't a quiet, empathetic, normal-looking dude. He was: loud, way too handsome to be true, and kinda pushy.
"Jeongin said you-"
"He did? Come on in then!" He took Minho by the arm and dragged him inside, closing the door behind him. He sat him down on his bed and plopped down next to him with his laptop. "My name's Hyunjin."
"Minho." He was perplexed.
"Right, great name, suits you." He talked fast. "What brought you here?"
"If I knew that, I wouldn't be here." Something about the boy made Minho want to snap. Or let it all out, but he wasn't considering that option...yet.
Hyunjin looked at him for a while, took his chin, and pushed his face to the left and right. "You're confused if you like someone or not. Most likely someone you're very close to."
His brain stopped working for a second. "Excuse me?"
Hyunjin shrugged. "Your eyes tell. And the dark circles under them too."
"I'm impressed. But you're wrong," Minho said.
"I'm never wrong." Hyunjin countered.
"How many people have you helped, to be so sure about that."
"Zero." He smiled, eyes disappearing and forming into half-moons instead. "But I watched every K-Drama in existence to know how love works."
Minho groaned out loud and slapped his own forehead. That's what Jeongin meant by heartbreak...
"And we're gonna be doing exactly that," Hyunjin added and opened his laptop. "We're going to watch every BL friend falls in love with his best friend series that there are."
"What's BL?"
"Boy's love. Male on male action. You get it." Hyunjin explained and began typing something.
"I'm not gay though."
The longhaired looked over the edge of his screen, raising an eyebrow. "You sure about that?"
Now that Minho thought of it. He wasn't. He just assumed his whole life that he was straight. So they watched multiple series.
Don't ask me how long he sat in this stranger's room, wondering why the fuck the actors were acting the same way he did or why he was crying with Hyunjin over every sad ending.
But the worst thing that he realized as he walked back home was that he was, in fact, 100% and inevitably in love with Jisung.
