ONESHOT | 04

"WHATEVER you do, do not go near the sea. it is a very dangerous place for a little girl like you" the old lady taps the nose of her only granddaughter. she laughs and giggles. "yes, grandma" the four year old nods. "why don't you play with teddy while i make dinner?" she places the girl down onto the ground. the old lady walks back inside the house, leaving the girl in the backyard with teddy, the dog. the four year old started running around until she heard a beautiful voice. she follows the voice which led her towards the beach. the little girl makes her way towards the water. no one was there to see her. each step she took, the water was rising. soon the voice stopped and the girl slowly starts to drown. a loud splash was heard and a fish like man was about to see back to his home until he sees a little figure slowly being pulled down into the sea. he rushes over and carries her back up to the surface. he swims over to the cave and jumps out of the water. he places the little girl down on the ground and tries to wake her up. he notice she wasn't breathing and starts to give mouth to mouth.

he sighs in relief when he heard her coughing. the young man was about to go back into the water until he heard the little girl speak. "you mermaid?" she points at him. he turns around and rolls his eyes. "im not a mermaid, baby human. im a siren, an evil version of those so called mermaids/mermen. i can easily kill you with the sound of my v-" his blue eyes widened when she places her small hands on his cheeks.
"beautiful" she smiles at him. his heart started to flutter by her comment. no one has ever called him that. they called him a monster for being the only siren. he clears his throat and pushes her away from him. "what's your name, baby human?" he asked. "(y/n)! i am four years old" she said using her small fingers. he chuckles at her cuteness. "nice to meet you. im jungkook but it's hard for you to say so call me, kook" he said and she nods. "kookie!" she hugs him. once more the siren was not expecting the baby human to hug him. humans are scared of his kind yet here he is, being hugged by one.

jungkook looks down at the little girl to see her burying her face into his chest. he smiles and wraps his arm around her little body. suddenly he freezes when he gets a vision of a beautiful woman with (h/c) hair. she turns around and smiles brightly as the wind blew her hair. she has (e/c) eyes and (s/c) skin. the siren shakes his head and looks down at the baby human. that's when he realize that he just looked into her future. he flinched when he felt her small lips kiss his skin. "okay baby human that's enough" he lifts her up in the air. "kookie!" she shouts as she reaches her arms out. "cuddles" she begs. "no, cuddles. haven't your parents teach you not to talk to strangers?" he scolds her. she pouts and soon tears started rolling down her cheeks. jungkook sighs and bring the little girl into his arms once more. she giggles and gives him kisses. "since when did i became a babysitter?" jungkook asked himself. "let's get you back on shore" he carefully swims towards the shore with the baby human in his arms.

he places her down and was about to leave until he heard her crying. "what now?" he asked as he turns back. "no leave" she reaches out for him. "i have to go back to my home. this is your home" he said pointing at the sand. she runs back into the sea and hugs the siren tightly. "my kookie!!!" she cries and digs her hand into his chest. "i can't stay baby human. here. you can have this" jungkook removes his bracelet and hands it to her. "if you ever miss me, just call my name into this and you will hear my voice, okay?" he said and she nods. "good. now run along. your parents are probably looking for you" jungkook said but before she leaves, she gives him a peck on his cheek. "bye bye!" she waves and runs off.
