Knock knock knock

She hears a soft knock on her door "Come in" She says, her eyes never leaving the paperwork laid out infront of her. Although when she heard the door open with a soft click, she turns her head up to greet her visitor with a smile

Her smile grew wider when said visitor revealed herself

"Good Afternoon, my President!" Senator Risa beamed at her and Leni felt her heart flutter. 'My President', it sounded so nice when the Senator calls her that. The latter closed the door behind her, locking the door unbeknownst to Leni. Risa held up a plastic bag, inside were two tupperwares of food, including a food that the President particularly liked "I brought us some lunch, sinabi sakin ng assistant mo na hindi ka pa kumakain" Risa shakes her head in disapproval, although there was a smile on her face "Hindi maganda yan, Prez"

Leni chuckled "Good Afternoon to you too, love" She greets before looking down on her wrist watch to find that it was indeed already lunch time. She hadn't realized that she had been signing paperworks all day since she arrived in her office, and only then did she realized that stomach was already grumbling. She sighed "Hindi ko narin pala napansin 'yung oras. Thank you for being so considerate"

Risa walked closer to her desk, Leni having to clear out the unfinished paperwork, neatly placing it to the side. The Senator placed the food down on the now empty space of the desk, walking around the desk, closer to Leni "Syempre, para sa'yo, mahal" She gives the older woman a light peck on her cheek before pulling up a chair next to Leni's "I just went and bought food do'on sa resto na gusto mo. Wala na rin kasing time para lutuan kita ng pagkain" Risa says as she took the two tupperwares out of the plastic bag and placing it down on the table

Leni shakes her head "Okay lang 'yon. Masyado narin tayong busy para mag-luto ng pagkain" She then placed one hand on the younger woman's thigh, leaning in closer "But i really appreciate it, naglaan ka pa talaga ng oras to have lunch with me" She spoke softly, pressing a soft kiss on the Senator's lips that lasted a few seconds longer. Leni smiles at her "I love you"

Risa could not stop the blush the creeps up to her face, frowning to hide the fact that deep inside, she's madly in love with this woman, and Leni laughs "Wala bang 'i love you too'?" She teases, letting go of Risa's thigh to grab the plastic utensils that was placed on the table. She grabbed the container filled with her favorite food and opens it

"Hindi mo deserve" Risa pouts at her and Leni couldn't help but giggle at her antics, knowing it was only light-hearted "Hay, Leonor. Pinapa-kilig mo'ko nang masyado" Risa whispered, but the older woman heard it very well. She reaches for her own food, opening the container before she starts eating

They spent their lunch chatting, discussing the latest works that the President is currently busying herself on, and new laws that the Senator is working on along with her fellow Senators. There were some slight teasing from the older woman in between their conversation, leaving Risa red and flustered, lightly hitting her lover in the arm for every joke she made

It was bliss, having her Senator next to her even for a bit. Knowing that they haven't really found a good time to spend time with each other, she had to cherish this moment with her right now

Once they finished their lunch, Risa had placed the now empty containers back in the plastic bag before placing it in the trash. The older woman went to check the time again, sighing at the thought of going back to doing her work, as dreadful as it was, she still the President "Ah, kailangan ko na bumalik sa trabaho. Salamat sa lunch, mahal" She gave Risa a grateful smile before going back to do her work. In the corner of her eye, she notices that the woman did not went to walk out the door and greet her goodbye. Instead, she walked back to where she sat earlier, scooting her chair a little more closer to Leni's. The older woman looked up
