It's been a week since I've been discharged from the hospital. I haven't spoken to Azia since she left me there. I dont think I've done anything wrong, I'm hoping I haven't.

Ive been attending therapy every Tuesday, and it's been the most soul sucking experience ever. Always asking the same goddamn question and I just want to leave. This goes on for about an hour until she tells me that the session was over.

I've brainstormed some ideas on what to do for the project. We had around 3 months ish to have this done for december. The theme was "beautiful deception." I did some research upon different insects that are deemed beautiful but are extremely deadly.

The black widow spider, gorgeous bold red mark of her back but can kill a man in one bite. Right. This is a group project meaning I actually have to reach out to Azia so we can get it done.

I picked up my phone and stared at the unlocked screen. Come on Eleena, it's just one text. Yeah a text to the most obnoxious girl in the whole year.

But the most beautiful obnoxious girl in the year. Okay let's not. No. Stop being a wimp. I tapped onto our chat and the keyboard flew up. How do I...how do I start this? Nah I'll ask Acacia to help cause there's no way I'm doing this on my own.

Cant believe I fell for that. I grinned and leaped onto my bed. I stared at the vines that crept up my cream walls.

Someone is at your front door 🔔
That must be Acacia. I slid down my stair banister and landed onto the rough rug that sat underneath the wooden door.

"Heyy, the one and only Acacia has arrived." Acacia opened her arms with pride and I hugged her tightly. She hugged me back while patting my head slowly.
"Awh how cute, let's go inside shall we?" I nodded and held the door open for her.

"Acacia?! Is that you my flower?" Maria beamed in delight as Acacia looked at her.
"Maria!! It's been so long." Maria speed walked to her and pulled her in a short hug.
"Wow you look so beautiful like model, miss universe material."

"Thank you tita (auntie), I promise I'll come over more often, just been busy with school and work." Acacia placed her shoes onto the rack and hugged Maria again.

"Ah, dont overwork yourself, I'll bring you girls some lychee juice."
"Thank you Maria," we said in unison and walked up the stairs.

"Okay so how do I start the convo." I sat down cross legged on my bed and stared at her. She took off her bag and placed it onto the pink chair by the door.

"Have you said hi?"
"Psh no." Acacia looked at me blankly.
"Obviously the conversation won't start until you say hi, you dumbass." She climbed into bed with me and laid down hugging my frog plushie.

"What do you want to say, like how do you want to approach this." I stood up and grabbed my phone from my desk, the screen lit up with Azia's chat that was now on full display.

I typed in something then showed Acacia, smiling with pride.
"Are you signing up for a job interview or what." She giggled softly as my face dropped.
"What do you mean."

"Bro read back what you wrote," She laughed again. I turned the phone to face me and read it back.

"Hi Azia, i would like to discuss the topic of our project that is due on the 23rd of December .
Kind regards, Eleena" Oh she has a point. I groaned in frustration and stuffed my face into a pillow.

"Hey it's alright honey, give me your phone I'll do it." I handed Acacia my phone, my face still nestled between my duvet and pillow.
"No inappropriate nonsense," I said, the rapid sound of backspacing letters was deafening.
"Wow am i even surprised at this point? No." We both laughed and the door opened with a creak.

"Okay my lovelies, here is your lychee juice." Maria greeted us with a warm smile and gave us our glasses.
"Thank you Maria," we said taking a big sip. Pure bliss.
"You're always welcome, Acacia you should stay over tonight."

20:57 the bold white numbers flashed on my clock.
"Oh my, I'm so sorry I stayed this long."
"It's okay don't worry, I already called your mother and she said it's okay to stay over, in fact she brought a bag with some clothes before going to her night shift." Maria put the backpack down in the corner of my room.

"Thank you Maria, I'll text her just in case." Maria nodded and greeted us goodnight before closing the door behind her.
"We should drink," Acacia suggested, "maybe some liquid courage can get you going."

"I don't have any with me at the moment."
"I do." Acacia reached for her shoulder bag that she had left on my white chair and pulled out a bottle of vodka.

"I'm impressed miss Green," I said reaching for the bottle.
"Then let's get going then Miss Delà Cruz."
