44: Silent treatment

The past few weeks I've been avoiding Azia and she's been doing the same. We have only communicated during our tuition and art project sessions. Today was our last art project session before the showcase next week, the atmosphere was so tense that you could bite into it no problem.
"Can you pass me the red." She snapped with her hand out, i slapped the red paint tube into it then continued adding detail to the web.
"Pass the black." She muttered, I put into her hand once more before continuing with what I was doing.

"Pass the-."
"Get it yourself." I said firmly,
"Excuse me?" She raised a brow and looked at me,
"Get. It. Yourself." I said once more never leaving the canvas."
Azia rolled her eyes then reached across to get the paint tube, her boob brushed my fingertips making my face blush with my blood boiling due to my conflicting feelings. She huffed as she got back into her stool to add the finishing touches.
"I'm done, are you?" She stated,
"Yes." I gritted.

"Kay, you have the script and description for the painting right?" Azia stood up to grab a cloth to clean the paint splatter from her face,
"Yeah." I answered.
"Finally you're done!" Chloe screeched from the doorway,
"You can leave now slag."
"Chloe." Azia said in a low tone,
"What baby? I'm not wrong." She smirked, making her way to Azia,
"Dont involve her i said." Azia hissed,
"You're no fun." Chloe cupped her face, pulling her into a deep kiss.

"Fucking bitch." I thought to myself, I took my bag off the hook on the wall then speed walked out the door. Acacia was parked outside, bobbing her head to the radio.
"Still giving her the silent treatment?" Acacia pondered while she waited to buckle me in.
"Mhm."I mumbled,
"What happened Eleena? You don't have to tell me but I know it's bothering you a lot."
"It just..." my eyes started to well up with tears,
"Take your time hon." Acacia reassured me.

"We had sex, on the morning after she took me to the cafe you and I always frequent to?"
"Yes." Acacia hummed,
"Azia left early cause of an emergency then Chloe turned up."
"That bitch!" Acacia's grip tightened around the steering wheel,
"She said I was nothing compared to her, brought up how I needed tutoring and how she was a better match for Azia since they're on the same level." I broke down, holding my face in my hands.

Acacia pulled into a parking lot, she unbuckled her seatbelt and mine, throwing her arms around me.
"Listen to me Eleena, you aren't anything that Chloe said, she's just a rich cunt that has little to no respect for others, you're one of the nicest and smartest individuals I know and I admire everything you've done. Don't think I haven't seen the sacrifices you've done to others, especially me and Azia. I love you babe so much."
"I love you too." I sniffled, pulling her into a tighter hug,
"Thank you." I stuttered,
"No need to thank me Eleena, you're my best friend, basically a sister to me."

I watched in disgust as Chloe twirled around Azia while she was trying to paint with Eleena. I had promised Azia to not interfere with her relationship but I could see that the wicked witch of the west had corrupted Azia making her do whatever she wanted. I saw Eleena speed walking out the room, towards the front door, i quickly held her back by her cardigan.
"Ignore what Chloe said, she a bitch, I'm sorry Azia is acting like this, I'll talk to her." I said calmly,
"Thank you Cerelia, but there's no need, they're meant for each other." She said in a low tone.

I was taken back by her answer but not surprised, I could see why she was responded in this way. I nodded then let go of her before unlocking the door so she could leave.
"Oh you're still here Carina." Chloe sighed dramatically,
"Ah Cora, how have you been?" I slapped a fake smile on my lips to control my anger,
"Excuse me?" Chloe's jaw dropped,
"That is your name isn't it?" I crossed my arms whilst walking towards her,
"It's Chloe cunt."
"My mistake how could I forget such a skanky individual." I towered over her now, glaring into her eyes.
