Ezra felt like shit, he was attempting to get out of bed but found that he was too weak to even stand. Ezra's breathing grew heavier as his eyes began to close. But when he looked over to see if anyone was at the door a figure stepped through, there was a blurry outline of a black dress as the woman approached. Amara noticed how weak Ezra was and sat down on the bed with him.

"Not long now Ezra," Amara said and saw the tattoo on Ezra's hand. "I've seen that before, it's as powerful as the mark." Amara placed her hand into Ezra's and closed her eyes. Ezra's eyes closed causing him to briefly pass out. Amara found herself in one of Ezra's distant futures, she saw Castiel speak through him like some sort of conduit. With Castiel speaking through Ezra she saw another girl in the room, with strawberry blonde hair, her eyes glowed red revealing that Lucifer was inside the girl's body.

"Well I'll be," the girl with strawberry blonde hair said. "Another Angel conduit, never thought I'd see one in two generations." Amara pulled her hand away as soon as she was pulled out from the vision. Now she knew the extent of Ezra's powers. An angel conduit was incredibly rare. Something that she hadn't seen before. A smirk appeared on her face as she spoke to herself.

"Oh Dear brother you have completely out done yourself this time." Amara said. Amara disappeared at the same time Mary raced inside with her uncle's journal.

"Ezra!" Mary exclaimed and tried to shake her cousin awake. Ezra groaned and despite his weakened state he at least was able to sit up.

"Mary? What?" Ezra said weakly.

"I found something, when I went searching for you earlier, the case in the hospital, we're dealing with a banshee."

"Again?" Ezra said with a groan. "I saw one before, how could we have the same one?"

"The banshee you saw on that ship was a warning of death but this one practically goes after the vulnerable." Mary explained she sat down on the opposite bed and looked through the journal. "It says we need a spell and golden blade to kill it," she continued. "I've never seen a golden blade before, I hope there's one in the impala."

"Maybe Jack has one?" Ezra suggested. Mary blushed at the mention of his name causing Ezra to blink.

"That umm would be good, I mean great." Mary stammered. Ezra raised an eyebrow wondering what had gone down and why Mary was acting strange.

"Mary? What's with the stammering? Something you want to tell me?"

"No, who said anything about a kiss, just call him and you will be okay." Ezra had a distinct feeling that something went down between the two, he figured he'd talk to Mary about that later. Reaching for his phone he blinked a few times before the numbers stopped floating on the phone and called Jack. Instantly Jack answered, Ezra, explained that they needed help with a banshee problem and needed a golden blade to deal with it. When Jack agreed Ezra hung up and tossed the phone onto the bed.

"He should be here soon." Ezra said. Before Mary could answer Jack appeared almost instantly in the room happy to see his friend.

"Hello, I believe this is one of those situations where humans say, bro." Jack didn't really understand humans just like Castiel didn't, but he was improving. "You look horrible Ezra."

"Yeah yeah," Ezra said. "I've heard all that before, Mary must have already told you about the situation." He continued. "We can't worry about me right now, we need to save those people in the hospital. If my father and uncle faced the same thing then we need to stop her before the next feeding time."

"Ezra I am going to say this because you're my friend and my sister really likes you," Jack needed to make sure Ezra cared about himself in this situation before he let them go hunting. "She likes to talk about marrying you but my point is I know you can't go hunting like this, so will you please let me help you?" He asked. "Not as a healer but a friend." Ezra didn't know what to say, the fact that Claire had a thing for him and wanted to marry him made him blush but that thought was consumed yet again by Amara. However, he didn't want Jack or Mary to know that he was drawn to Amara. Rather, Ezra simply nodded without saying a word to either Jack or Mary. Jack placed his hand on Ezra's forehead and used his powers to create a bandage on the leak causing Ezra to not feel as bad anymore. "I've put a stop to the leaking for now but be careful it can be torn off easily." Jack prepared to leave since Ezra's color was coming back but the second he turned around he saw Mary who was trying to hide under the covers.

"I'm not here," she stated. Jack blushed briefly but quickly disappeared. Ezra got out of the bed and walked over to the other where Mary was hiding and pulled the blanket off her.

"Mary? You know covers don't necessarily hide you right?" Ezra asked.

"No, but maybe it will hide my shame," Mary responded. "Can I please go back under?"

"How about no? Because I want to know what's going on between you two." Ezra sat down next to Mary. "You wanna tell me something?" Mary blushed again and sighed as she responded.

"I'm a two-timer," Mary looked down. "I kissed him and it was really nice but it was wrong because I was cheating."

"First, I told you that you and Jack are good together, and Jackson doesn't even care about you Mary," Ezra said. "The relationship is one-sided, can't you see? He wants something else, something you can't even give him."

"But he said he loved me," Mary knew that didn't excuse any of his actions nor the times he had gotten overly jealous of any boy looking at her. She messed with her hands wondering if she should say how trapped she felt with him. "I feel like he's got me on a leash E and I hate it but I just don't know how to describe it."

"He said he loved your hair, that's it and he knows something," Ezra explained. "He already knows about Jack and he knows about the darkness, something just doesn't sit right. He's hiding something, he's trying everything he can to control and manipulate you."

"You're right as usual but what can I do? Every time I try to break up with him he refuses to accept it and acts possessive." She wondered if Jackson had put her through some kind of spell or something.

"I'll be by your side, if you need some help, I'll help you. I'm not going to let him treat you like an object." Ezra wrapped his arms around Mary pulling her into a tight hug.

"Okay that sounds really good it would definitely take away this weight on my chest," she responded. "By the way, I also knew you were a softie."

"Kind of runs in the family," Ezra laughed. "Let's get back to that hospital before someone else falls victim. If we're right the banshee will strike tonight and we need enough time to create those sigils, the banshee must reveal itself in order to feed, which means it'll get caught between both sigils before it gets stuck."

"I bet it looks ugly let's go by the way. What's this about Claire wanting to marry you?" She smirked as her cousin blushed.

"I'm not gonna talk about it now, we need to go and stop it." Ezra grabbed his cousin's arm and the golden blade before leaving the motel.
