Ezra clenched his hands into fists; everything that Amara was doing had been starting to weigh on him. All he wanted was everything to go back to normal. He didn't want to deal with any more supernatural beings nor did he want to deal with not being able to fit in with anyone in the family.

"Amara was here." was all that Ezra could say, no way was he telling his cousin that he and Amara had yet again kissed, but the more Amara was near him the more he felt darker like something was trying to take over.

"You feel different," Mary said, backing away. "I don't like it." Ezra looked over at his cousin and noticed the scared look on her face.

"Mary? What?" Ezra said. "I needed time to myself, I'm still me." Ezra attempted to approach her.

"I um I need to tell you something," she responded. Mary didn't show her fear since that was the worst thing she could do when he was struggling like this. So she moved closer ignoring the cold feeling all around her. "But first, are you okay?" Ezra took a deep breath and nodded his head, even though he knew that his cousin was afraid and that wasn't something he wanted her to feel, especially not around him.

"I'm fine, I think I just need to get back to the motel.." Ezra said, grabbing his jacket from the bench.

"Wait." Mary stopped him so she could give him a hug. She was hoping that her light could make him feel better. Ezra turned to figure out what his cousin wanted and immediately she wrapped him in a bear hug, with Ezra being caught off guard some of Mary's light began entering his body but his head started to hurt due to the influence that Amara had on him.

"What was that for?" Ezra said surprisingly the influence Amara had on him waned.

"I just wanted to make you feel better," Mary answered. "Is that alright?" He felt more like himself but she was still getting chills so she wasn't going to take any chances.

"I'm not complaining," Ezra said. "But let's get to the motel, you said you had something to tell me?"

Mary didn't really have the words to explain what she needed to say, how did someone even explain that God was waiting back in their motel room. She tried her best but felt she sounded crazy and was beginning to get frustrated.

"Ugh this shouldn't be hard to explain but it is," they were standing outside of their motel room with Ezra. "Just know that I'm not crazy." Ezra laughed wondering why his cousin would think that but Mary warned him yet again and opened their door. The minute they stepped in Ezra's eyes landed on a man with curly brown hair and a brown beard.

"Who are you?" Ezra asked.

"Ezra, come on you don't need me to tell you," Chuck answered. He closed the book he was reading and placed it on the table. "Man, they really messed up some of my greatest quotes." Ezra looked between the stranger and the bible.

"That can't be possible.." Ezra said not sure how to react. "You're not.. But you can't be.."

"Ezra showed him some respect, that's the almighty," Mary elbowed him but smiled right after that. "There are so many things I want to ask you."

"Mary.. you're babbling." Ezra said but sat down on the bed, his mother had told him the stories but it was hard to believe that he was sitting right in front of God.

"Oh Ezra you don't feel right, I can sense that clearly," Chuck said, turning to look at Ezra. "It's the darkness isn't it?" Ezra flinched at the mention of the darkness, the past day and a half had been nothing but torture for him. He especially didn't like that people kept bringing it up when he so desperately wanted it to end.

"What if it is?" Ezra said. "Look, sir, I don't mean to be rude, but where have you been? Why come back again, now? My father helped bring you and your sister back together, but now there's another one."

"Ezra!" Mary scolded.

"No Mary it's alright I created free will for a reason," Chuck responded. "I've always been around you two, I created you, but just because you couldn't see me it doesn't mean I wasn't there," he continued. "I can't be hands-on in everything if I was then my children would never grow, that's what being a father is all about." Ezra could understand that but he still wanted to know why God hadn't stepped in to help before.

"I understand but we've been through so much, your sons fought each other and we needed you." Ezra responded.

"I can read your thoughts you know, I did create you," Chuck looked away from Ezra and picked up the bible again. "I think if you give it a chance you would see that I've always been helping you." The almighty passed him the bible and when Ezra thought about not reading Mary gave him her death glare.

"Okay put your glare away." Ezra said, holding his hands up, Ezra had politely taken the bible from Chuck's hands and looked at the cover but remained quiet. "Sir, My mother said that you'd be able to help?"

"Yes but like I told both of your father's we can't kill her, she is necessary for all existence just like I am," Chuck explained. "We will need a way to weaken her, last time I had a bunch of help from witches, ghosts, demons, and angels. So we will need that again."

"Wait, does one of us have to bear the mark?" Mary asked. "I know that's the only way to lock her away."

"I can't give the mark to either of you," Chuck explained that if one of them got tainted the other would either die or follow the same path. "It's the unfortunate truth of platonic soulmates and it's for that same reason I can't give it to anyone in your family." Ezra threw his hands up and stood from the bed. If they couldn't get rid of her or neither of them would be able to take on the mark then they were sitting ducks.

"Great so there's no way to get rid of her!" Ezra exclaimed. "There's got to be something we can do!" Before Chuck could answer, the ground started shaking unexpectedly. God told them both to take cover while he checked it out. Sure enough, he was able to stop it but he became concerned when he realized what had caused it.

"There is too much darkness and the scale is tipping," Chuck explained as he helped them both stand-up. "This Amara has to leave since there is already one in this world."

"Then we have to send her back to the other world, but we don't know how we got there, we just remember waking up on the floor." Mary pointed out. The chills returned and she realized that it was coming from Ezra.

"No," Ezra said. "I refuse to send her back, we don't even know how we did it."

"Ezra..." Mary began but Chuck stopped her.

"That isn't your cousin talking Mary, it's my sister." Ezra glared at the two as Mary tried to approach him but Ezra immediately summoned a blade into his hand.

"Don't try it, you send her back. I will do something to you." Ezra threatened, the angel tattoo on his hand became dark leaving an imprint that Mary was now worried about.

"Oh, I see how it is," Mary said, crossing her arms. "She is your new girlfriend, don't think I didn't know you two kissed."

"Enough!" Chuck screamed, causing not only the lights to go out but for both to go flying in different directions. "I created you both to work together not bicker, and you dear sister will not influence my creations again!" Ezra got up on his feet as his mouth dipped into a snarl.

"Just when I thought things would get better, he's mine dear brother and you can't get him back." Without another word, Ezra ran out of the motel and got into the impala hot wiring it and driving it off.
