Once everything was ready, Chuck, Jack, and Mary left the motel room to the cave. Upon arriving at the cave, Chuck and Jack stayed just outside as Mary walked in to find her cousin lying unconscious on the floor. Mary raced over to him and tried to shake him awake.

"Ezra?!" Mary exclaimed. "Oh please don't be dead!"

"Did you really think I would kill him?" Amara said, stepping out from the darkness. "And did you really think I'd fall for your little trap, I know you didn't come out here alone, isn't that right dear brother?" Amara turned toward the cave entrance. "No use hiding, I'm sure you already know the situation."

"It was this or reasoning with you which I know is impossible," Chuck responded. "But of course, you care only about yourself," Amara gazed at him like she was trying to read his thoughts but was caught off guard when Chuck's eyes lit up and attacked her. "Let's keep this argument between us." Amara chuckled and snapped her fingers. On cue, Ezra's eyes opened his eyes turned black then back to the normal green. Ezra grabbed his cousin by the arm and kicked her in the stomach, sending her onto her back. Ezra pulled out a blade and placed it under her chin.

"I know everything about your little plan with these Winchester kids, I know everything about them, what I don't understand is why you did it, it's been eons, what makes these two kids so different?" Amara demanded while Mary struggled under Ezra's grip.

"I wouldn't expect you to understand sister, I created all of this out of love but you have never understood that and I feel sorry for you," Chuck responded. "You will never understand the reason behind these two wasn't just my doing, it was love."

"Love," Amara laughed. "That's your explanation? Really brother you could have come up with a better reason, well in this case, why don't you watch as your creations kill themselves," Amara turned toward Ezra who still had Mary pinned. "Ezra sweetheart, kill her." Ezra looked over at Amara and nodded.

"Yes m'lady," Ezra said and raised the blade over his cousin. Quickly thinking Mary defended herself and grabbed Ezra by the arm sending him flying back Ezra hit a wall and groaned. But still, he was able to get up. Mary summoned her angel blade and gave Ezra a stern look but still held back her sadness.

"You won't pick us apart so easily Amara, besides you're not the only one who brought friends." Mary turned away from the darkness and Amara was caught off guard by a blast of gold power, she wasn't expecting it to hurt but it did and she was pushed back.

"Hey Auntie Amara I've heard you really suck," Jack commented before he attacked her again this time slapping her with one of his large wings. Ezra called out for her but he was tackled by Mary which prevented him from helping her. Amara was stuck battling both Jack and her brother and despite her power, she couldn't take them both on alone.

"Sorry E but I can't have you attack my boyfriend when that is Dad's job, now snap out of it!" Mary screamed at him and kept tackling him even when he threw her off his back.

"In the past I let you win, now there is no holding back," Ezra said to her. Mary looked at him with a burning gaze, and just like her fight with Dezra vines came out of the ground trapped Ezra in place.

"I wouldn't count it, now listen to me before I think about setting these vines on fire!" Mary exclaimed.

"Mary!" Ezra yelled, struggling to break free. But each time Ezra pulled the vines tightened and Ezra flinched. "Mary let me go right now! You don't know what you're messing with!"

"Maybe I don't but I'm doing it for you," Mary responded. "I love you, Ezra, don't throw that away for her."

"No you're doing this for yourself, you can't stand being alone, you can't stand that I will die," Ezra said. "You never loved me you loved Jackson I was pushed aside, never knowing where I belong and you're going to lecture me about love?" Mary became angry and her emotions reflected in her abilities since the vines began shooting sparks. Ezra gasped thinking Mary was going to burn him alive but she made the choice to let him go.

"We could stand all day Ezra and I could lecture you about all those times I've made a choice and it was never for myself," Mary said to him. "It was always about family and this is me dragging your sorry ass out of the fire!" She punched him in the nose before hugging him.

"Don't just stand there! finish her!" Amara ordered and was quickly pulled back into her own fight. Ezra had the urge to kill Mary but suddenly a warm feeling started to overtake him, his head hurt as he pulled away from Mary.

"Mary?" Ezra said but Amara's influence tried to return and place images in his head. He cried out and stepped away from his cousin.

"You heard me slave finish her!" Amara ordered a second time and Ezra's eyes changed back to green as her influence faded.

"Ezra?" Mary asked, still keeping a grip on her weapon. Flashes of everything that he and his cousin have been through played out in his mind immediately replacing everything that Amara put in his head. When the last of her influence faded the color returned to his face and he glared at Amara.

"Can it bitch, go to hell! I'm nobody's slave!" Ezra yelled, giving Chuck the chance to open the portal. Amara, who was caught off guard by the tone of voice, was suddenly pushed back into the portal by Jack's golden light and the portal immediately closed. Weak from all that has happened Ezra had to catch himself on the wall. "What happened? Mary? How?"

"Shut up, don't talk and hug me," Mary hugged him before he could ask any more questions. "I missed you so much." Ezra was confused but was glad that Mary wasn't backing away anymore. Chuck smiled at the sight and Jack blinked at it wondering if he should say something or leave. Ezra and Mary pulled away as Ezra looked over to see Chuck and Jack watching.

"Is someone going to tell me what happened? How long have I been gone?" Ezra asked, completely confused.

"Too long," Mary responded. "What do you remember?"

"All I remember is that we went up against a banshee, Claire got taken and the last thing I remember was seeing Chuck."

"That is definitely a good thing," Chuck said. "You've been through a lot Ezra, you deserve some rest." Ezra protested but Chuck placed two fingers on his forehead causing him to fall asleep.
