Chapter 12- Letters, Letters and More Letters

"Dear Shoko:
That was unexpected. But I guess it also explains why Bird Kid was the one to deliver the note.
I'd like to ask tho, were you planning to surrender in the break out?
Whatever the answer is, I'm just glad you're okay.
Sincerely, Kiyoshi."

"My dearest Kiyoshi:
Yeah, I wasn't expecting this whole U.A thing.
The answer to your question, yeah. I think I did plan that in some way.
Your only friend, Chisaki Shoko."

"Shoko:
Okay, well, how's everything going?
I mean, nothing much has happened here in the league, Bird Kid and Dabi aren't on the best of terms and Shigaraki blew up the washing machine but aside from that, nothing.
Maybe the heroes are more interesting.
Sincerely, Kiyoshi."

"Heyo Kiyoshi!
Nah, no one really trusts me with anything here, except from maybe two kids from my class.
They're nice, but not as nice as you.
Chisaki Shoko."

"My dear Shoko:
Oh. That's... Cool.
You know, I've been trying to locate your father to punch him right in the face. No success yet, but I'm getting there.
Sincerely, Kiyoshi."

"Are you jealous?
And relax, you'll find him eventually. Though if you do, tell me where he is, the heroes are looking for him too.
Chisaki Shoko."

As they read the letter, a sentence sounded more familiar than it should.

"But Sensei, don't you think they'll find them eventually? I mean, they're the child of--"

"I know, but trust me, we'll hide them well."

It was probably nothing.

'My dearest Shoko:
I am not jealous, at least you have friends now.
I will inform you of any clues or anything about him.
Sincerely, Kiyoshi.'

'My dearest, Kiyoshi:
I'm planning to sneak out of the dorms next friday, wanna meet up?'

'Dear Shoko:
I am not sure, it's a bit risky, don't you think?
I can get arrested and you could get too.'

'My dear Kiyoshi:
I know that, but it'll be fun!
Look, let's meet on the building we used to meet up in, remember?'

After that, she didn't get a response. The dorms were already full with her classmates everywhere and she couldn't leave without another classmate. So, who was better for the job than little messenger pidgeon.

"Oi. Pidgeon, open the door." She knocked the door repeatedly.

He opened the door.

"What is it? Do you need me to deliver another note?"

"No, I need you to get me out of here so I can meet up with them."

"...What do I get out of this?"

"I'll bring you KFC."

"Okay."

The two flew out of U.A.

"Kiyoshi!"

"Shoko?"

The two hugged each other, Shina just stood there.

"How did you sneak out?"

"I was gonna do that but pidgeon over there brought me here."

"Y'know what? I'll go to the bar for a little bit. I'll come pick you up by 5."

He flew off.

"Okay, he's gone. Look Shoko, I need to tell you something."

"Sure, what is it?"

"In one of your letters...  you said I would find your father eventually. That reminded me of something, a blurry memory. At first I thought it was nothing. But now I think the League is hiding something from me. Especially Sensei."

"All For One, right? Yeah that guy is shady. And I think I know what happened to you."

"He says I was found on a villain attack."

"No, no, I mean a kidnapping. You see, a couple years ago the kid of two heroes was kidnapped out of nowhere. My mom never told me who the heroes were. I think she doesn't even know that information."

"No wait... That doesn't sound right."

"I don't know what to tell you, then. But there's plenty of time left, we're still teens, aren't we?"

"Yeah..."
