"Are you winning son?"

"Yes, dad."

"Keigo. Stop being annoying and let him train."

"Mean."

"Dabi! What're you doing here?"

"This is a building in the middle of the city, Hawks. I can see my house from here and daydream about setting everyone there on fire and then burn the place to the ground."

"Geez dude."

(A/N: This chapter will be narrated in first person, from Hawks' perspective. Next chapter will be the usual third person tho.)

You could say my relationship with Dabi has grown into an enemies to lovers over the years. I mean, we have a son, but Shina and him are not really getting along.

I'm only here because of the Hero Commission's neverending mission of infiltrating the L.O.V to finish it from the inside. It shouldn't be my problem if he or any other of them dies.

Tho I can feel something will go horribly wrong.

I've been feeling this for weeks.

Dabi and the old man are catching up, I believe. Right now, the latest update on information I have sent was three weeks ago.

That cannot be good.

Knowing the both of them, they may use my little Shina to wreck havoc. He can't go back. U.A is the best option right now.

I'm now flying to him. From what Mind Paralysis and Deku said to me, it seems he's doing a good job, I've gotta say, I'm proud.

I was focused on a chicken nuggets sign that I crashed right outside the dorms building.

Lol

Everyone is startled by my A M A Z I N G landing, well, everyone but Shina, who looks more confused as to why I'm here.

"Hey Shin-!" I stop myself before dooming everyone else by saying his real name.

"Hey dad..."

"Can we talk for a sec? Out?"

He nods and follows me outside.

"Listen son. You cannot leave U.A under any circumstances. Even better, don't even leave your dorm room."

"What?! What did you do?"

I don't know what to say or do. He looks like me as a teen. I hate this.

"Answer me! What is all of this?!"

"You're gonna be used to be a killing machine, I can feel it. One of us is gonna die at the hands of the League."

"What...?"

"I'm a traitor, Shina. I work for the Hero Commision and they will eventually have to execute the L.O.V, your father included."

"What are you saying...?"

I hate to end it like this. But it's me or him.

"Run away."

Blood falls down his eyes. I remember Dabi mentioning he inherited the burnt tear ducts. I thought it was a joke but now it's painful to watch.

He turns around and runs back fast out of my view.

I head back to where I came from. The Hero Commission building.

"Hawks. I imagine you did it. You killed Dabi."

"I did... Yeah..."

"Your victory will be celebrated by the entire country, then."

"Oh... Sure... I need to go now..."
.
.
.
.
Kill Dabi?! When was that the mission?!

I couldn't kill Dabi. I won't have his blood in my hands. That is the man I love!

I walk through the building's hallways. Empty as they can possibly be.

The vents start to let off some weird gas. I feel sleepy all of the sudden.

I wake up, barely awake I try to focus.

"Oh look! Sleeping beauty woke up!"
Dabi is here. I feel a strange pain in my chest.

"Chest bothering you? Maybe Toga went a little too hard, but that's what spies get."

My eyes widen as I look down, I'm bleeding rapidly, apparently from multiple chest wounds.

"Dabi-"

"Come on, we've been married for almost 1 whole decade now. Plus, you're practically on your deathbed, so Takami Keigo, call me by my real name."

He grins and laughs, flames come through his hands and the entire place is lit on fire.

He slowly pronounces a name I've only caller an old friend of mine.

"Todoroki Touya."

No... It can't be... Touya?! Endeavor told me he died!

"Oh yeah! Caught you off guard right?! It's such a shame you have to end this way. But your death will be one less headache."

I try to get up, but the injuries are not helping my case that much

The area is getting hot. It's hard to breathe.

"Now listen to me, Takami Keigo."

He reaches to my wings and gets the sharpest feather I got.

It's lit on fire. It reminds me of our son. God, I should've done more with him.

"You are the sickness of the hero society. Life itself will be a greater place when you're 6 feet under. You're the only reason Shina is cursed and this is his revenge. We all despise you."

I get stabbed repeatedly by my own husband and with my own feathers. There's no way I survive this one. I faint and pass away in the blue flames, though before, I see Dabi as he walks away.

Third person perspective

"I promised Maria to get revenge."

"You're wrong, Shadow! That image playing over and over in your head like a GIF is not the truth!"

"It's pronounced GIF----"

Static filled the TV screen for a short time.

"Oh come on!" Haya yelled, the Bracelet Squad was watching a movie.

"Shin, you're back." Dai looked at her friend, he sat on the floor next to Inochi.

"We're sorry to interrupt your daily programing. But there are some breaking news."

"What's more important than the movie, huh?" Isshouka added.

"The N.4 hero, Hawks, was killed by the villain known as Dabi. The circumstances of the battle are still unknown to the public."

Shina's eyes widened.

"Dad... What have you done...?"
