Steak and shake

We were walking over to Steak and Shake and we were playing tag. Dean was it and he was coming up right behind me. "You'll never catch me!" I screamed running as fast as I could.

"That's a lie!" he was getting me tackling me to the ground. We laughed and got up. "Oh also no tags backs." He smiled.

"Guy!" I looked over to him and Connie, Connie started giggling.

"Oh no." He stared running  away from me towards the Steak and Shake. I caught up to him and tagged him, running past him into the steak shake.

"And no... tag... backs." I said out of breath.

"I'm done... with this... game." Guy said in between breaths.

"Your just mad that Harls is faster then you Guy."  Averman said shrugging. Which made the team laugh.

"Ya, ya very funny." He rolled his eyes playfully at me.

We got seated and started talking about random things. "What do you think Fulton and Julie are doing right now?" Luis asked raising his eyebrows.

Dean spoke up interrupting my thoughts, "Probably making out or making baby's and sh-"

"Dean!" I cut him off. He laughed and so did some of the boys.

"Hm maybe. They both would have sex first date. I mean I wouldn't be surprised if you and Dean had it first date." Adam said. I choked on my drink coughing.

"Actually for your information we did indeed not have sex." Dean said sassily.

"Harls?" Kenny whispered.

"Yeah Kenny."

"Did you and Dean actually have sex." He asked smiling

"No Kenny." I rolled my eyes.

"Okay so like I have a question. So if you could bark what kind of bark would you use?" Jesse said in all seriousness. I almost spit out my drink. What is talking about?

"Jesse are you high?" Dwayne asked him laughing.

"No, my mom doesn't let me get high anymore. She says it's bad." He put air quotes around the word bad which made me laugh so hard.

We kept our crazy conversations going and got our food.

It was pretty late when I saw Julie and Fulton walk in and spot our table. "Hey guys!" Julie said sitting down at our table.

"How was your date?" Goldberg said

"It was good." Fulton looked at Julie.

"I liked it. We went back to the hotel and saw you guys weren't in your rooms." She said taking a fry off my plate.

"What have you guys been talking about?" Fulton asked.

"We've been here talking about the randomness shit I've heard in awhile." Dean said playing with my hair.

Fulton laughed saying, "When the ducks talk it's all just nonsense or hockey." We all laughed at his remark.

"What time is it anyways?" Luis asked

"10:30 and 11:00 is our curfew so I say we get back soon." Julie said leaning into Fulton.

"Good for you!" Adam and I both soung

"You look happy and healthy!" I screamed

"Not me!" Adam screamed

"If you even cared to ask!" We both screamed.

"What's the next line?" He said panting

"I- I don't know." I said panting as well. The ducks laughed at our stupidity.

"I'm pretty sure the next line is good for you." Adam said. I shrugged and sept singing/ screaming the lyrics and soon the whole team was singing it with me and Adam.

I was in Dean and Fulton's room and Julie was in there too. Her and Fulton were cuddling which was the cutest thing, but I was leaning on Dean just on my phone looking at tiktoks and I got a call from my mom.

"Hey mama."

"Hey sweetie how are you?"

"I'm good why are you calling anything wrong."

"I just wanted to check on you. Congratulate you on winning your first game."

"Aw thanks mom."

"Yeah no problem."

"Say hi to Carson for me!"

"I will, love you."

"Love you too bye."

I hung up. "Was that your mom?"

"Mhm she was congratulating me about our win."

"Aw that's sweet." I nodded and smiled

About an hour later I got a text from Kenny.

Italic: Kenny

Hey could you come to lounge area real quick

Just me?

Just you

Ofc I'll be there in 3.

"I have to go to the lounge area, I think something's wrong with Kenny." I said sitting up.

"Is everything okay?" Dean asked

"I don't know. I hope."

"Do you want me to come?"

"He said he wanted it just to be me."

"Okay tell me if you need me." I nodded kissing Dean and headed out the door.

I had to improvise some bc this chapter was revolving around steak and shake and i didn't rly like that lol. -cat
