Dating

Kenny's POV:

I was sitting on my phone on my bed. Everyone was out at lunch but I wasn't hungry so I didn't go. I heard the door open and in came Dwayne.

I felt my face start to redden, "Hi Dwayne." I smiled.

"Hi Kenny." He said sitting on my bed.

"What's up?" I asked putting phone down sitting up.

"Um I have something important to tell you."

My eyebrows furrowed. "Okay."

"Um so the other night when you were in the lounge with Harley. I uh heard your conversation." He said. I could feel my eyes start to sting.

"Uh Dwayne. Im sorry if. I uh- I-."

"Shh." He said taking my hands.

"Hey I like you too. I was wondering if you wanted to go out sometime and hopefully be my boyfriend." I could feel my heart explode. My smile was beaming.

"Yes I would love to go out with you and yes I'd love to be your boyfriend." He smiled and stood.

"Really cause you can say no if you want." He said sounding unsure. I stood up and took his hands looking up into his eyes.

"Dwayne I want to." He smiled and picked me up by the waste spinning me around.

"Oh I could just kiss you." He said his smile dropping after he said it. He put me down.

"I mean I-"

"Then do it." I cut him off.

"Do what."

"Kiss me." He smiled and leaned down putting his hand on my cheek. I then felt a pair of warm lips on mine.

Our lips moved in sync for about 10 seconds and then he pulled away.

"So where are we going for our date?" I asked smiling.

Harley's POV:

Dean was currently trying to teach Fulton how to do hair on Julie.

"Okay so you do it like this." He showed twisting my hair. Fulton copied his moves sloppily.

"It's getting better." I said

"Thanks Harls." Fulton smiled finishing a very sloppy fish tail braid.

"Hmm not bad." Julie said looking at it in the mirror.

That's when my phone rung.

"Hello?" I answered.

"Harley guess what." Kenny said in all seriousness.

"What."

"Dwayne asked me out and date them asked to be my boyfriend then kissed me."

"Oh my lord he didn't."

"He did!"

"Are you gonna tell the team?"

"Tell us what?" Julie asked I put my finger up to signal her that I needed a moment.

"I uh don't know. We haven't talked about telling anyone."

"I know that everyone in the room I'm in will support you guys."

"Who ya with?"

"Dean, Julie, and Fulton." The three looked at each other confused.

"You can tell them just don't have them blab I don't know if Dwayne wants me telling everyone."

"Alright, bye Kenny."

"Bye Harls love you appreciate you!"

"Love you more best friend." I hung up putting the phone down. The three people in front of me were dumbfounded.

"I thought I was your best friend." Julie said crossing her arms.

"You are Jules!"

"Who was that?" Dean asked.

"Kenny." I said

"What did Ken the man want?" Fulton asked. I sat down next to Dean as he put an arm around me.

"You guys all support lgbtq right." I all got yeahs from them.

"Well Kenny and Dwayne are dating." I said.

"They are?" Julie asked smiling.

"Mhm."

"Hmm well if they're happy." Fulton said taking Julies hair out to do again.

"I think it's cool. My uncles are gay all my talks about is their good fashion taste." Dean said. I giggled a bit.

"Hey you did it perfectly Fulton!" Julie said looking at the fish tail braid he had done.

"Really?" He asked coming over.

"Mhm." She smiled and pecked his lips. I smiled at their sweetness towards each other.

"Hey Fulton and I were going to go get ice cream. You two care to join us. Double date?" Dean asked smiling.

"Can't we promised Connie we'd go shopping tonight. Maybe another night." I said kissing his lips.

"Speaking of that what time is it Harls." I checked my phone and it read 7:36.

"Damn we were supposed to be in our room 6 minutes ago." I said sitting up and getting my things. Julie got her things too.

We bid our goodbyes and headed out the door.

I like this one. I'm glad I'm making a different book. I like how this is working out. I like how Fulton, Julie, Dean, and Harley are all a friend group. -cat
