"How do I know you?" Peter asked.
For a small moment everyone was so shocked that no one spoke. Tony was the first one to snap out of it. He pulled his phone out and used his technology to make it appear in the middle of the room. It showed the picture of Peter with the Avengers. It stayed there for a few seconds before Tony switched it to a different one. He did this a few times until they had gone through 6 or so different pictures.
Peter looked at these carefully and back at the people in the room.
"Your my friends?" Peter questioned.
"Yeah we would see you everyday. You spent most of your time here and we all enjoyed seeing you" Tony explained.
After a short while of small chats the team had managed to convince Peter that he knew them and got him to sit back down so they could examine him.
"According to these test Peter has a case of memory loss as we have noticed" Bruce said reading the scans.
"Will he recover his memories in time" Wanda asked.
"I don't know. They could come back in a week, a month, a year or even never. I wouldn't be waiting on the edge of your seat for them to come back" Bruce said sympathetically.

Peter just sat there silently listening to the people talk about him.
"Where's the bin?" Peter asks out of the blue.
"There's one in the corner" Pietro commented weirded out by the choice of words Peter used.
Peter looked calm as he slowly walked towards the bin. He stood there silently for a few seconds looking down then threw up. He aimed it at the bin and let out a variety of coughs afterwards before throwing up again.
Tony came up behind him and began rubbing his back allowing Peter to let everything out then he slid to the floor.
"This isn't fair" Peter said and put his head against the wall on the brink of tears "why can't I remember".
Tony could see the distress in Peters eyes as he looked up at him. Tony crouched down so he was on the same level as Peter.
"Hey kid I understand that you don't remember any of us but we can try and help you. If you let us" Tony suggested.
Peter looked at Tony and could see his sincerity.
"Thank you" Peter said nodding his head, giving a small smile.

Tony helped Peter off the floor and gave him a quick run down of the building and where his bedroom is and all that. Tony then led him through the hallway and to the main room with looked a lot better than what it had been where the rest of the Avengers were.
Nat was the first in the room to notice.
"Peter!" she exclaimed and ran towards him but Wanda rushed forward and held her back.
"What are you doing?" She asked then looked at Peters face which sparkled with fear.
The rest of the team wandered up.
"Everyone Peter had lost his memory. He has no recollection of us or anything we did together so you all need to keep calm and tone it down" Tony said then pointed at each of the team one by one telling Peter their names and his own nicknames for each of themselves
"Capsticle" Peter chuckled when Tony got to Steve who pulled an irritated face.
The team smiled when they saw this. He may have lost his memory but all those burdens and horrors Peter held on his shoulders were now gone. He could start again and the team could make sure he would live a happy life.

"Peter do you want to join us for lunch. I assume your hungry" Vision asked walking into the kitchen and turning off the oven then getting out the food.
Peter was about to say something when his stomach rumbled giving his answer for him. He looked down embarrassed and a few laughs were made from the team as they all headed over to the table.
Everyone sat down and took turned grabbing some of the food and tucking in.
Peter ate quite a lot which surprised the team as before he wouldn't eat much but were happy that he was enjoying himself.
"Pointbreak pass the potatoes" Tony shouted down to the other end of the table at Thor who downed a coffee.
"Damn you Stark" Thor muttered and passed the potatoes down the table.
Stark smirked as he added some potatoes to his plate and began to eat.

After lunch Tony showed Peter to his room and left him there while he went back to the lab to get a better look at Peters brain scans.
Peter looked around at his room. It looked pretty plain but had some clean folded clothes on the bed and a few items on the desk. He headed over to the desk and had a look at some of the items but none of them sparked any connection in him. He walked around and sat on the bed when he noticed something on his bedside table. It shouldn't have meant much but he felt some sort of resemblance when he saw it. As he picked it up a flash of light flushed his eyes.

Peter looked around. He felt dizzy. As he looked around he was in a small enclosed room. He looked down at his arm which had an IV slipped in to his skin then back up and out the window. He looked to be near a field with bird chirping in the wind. There was nothing bright in the room with a small teddy bear on the top of the drawers. Everything was silent when he heard the noise of a door and a person walked in. He couldn't get a look at their face before a bright light once again filled his vision clouding his mind.

"Owww my head" Peter dropped the item and it fell to the floor. He rubbed his eyes and blinked a couple times before his vision was fully restored. He now had a splitting headache.
"What the hell was that?" Peter asked himself before falling back into his bed and closing his eyes.
