The bite: chapter eight

It was a dark outside eda had to take care of some business so she had to leave luz and king at home by themselves king rested in eda's bed waiting for her to come home the latina sat on her bed scrolling through her messages from her supposedly mother till she heard something open she checked it to see if it was her door as she went out in the hallway looked around in the dark, nothing just silence It was pitch black she got nervous so she closed the door luz turned around and saw a dark figure "your different" the shadow got closer to her "who the hell are you how did you get in here?" "That's not your concern dear" luz tried to back away before she could she was grabbed and tossed on the wall surprisingly it didn't hurt or make a loud thump
"Don't be scared Luz" the figure covered her mouth as for she couldn't scream luz started to feel a lump in her throat tears began to form in her eyes "don't cry!" "Please don't cry" she wiped her tears away luz was confused now 'what is literally going on?' Amity didn't mean to scare her she should've figured out another way to do this but had no choice now she would say something about it this was the only chance she had an had to make it seem like she was dreaming "this won't hurt that much if you don't refuse" luz's heart dropped she started to get a shaky breath "hmp!"
Luz started to try to fight back amity held her hands up and bit her neck but made sure not to be so aggressive with her neck as for humans are fragile and since her bruises were still healing.. Very slowly.
Feeling the figures fangs in her throat which started to sting "hmp-!" Luz groaned in pain since it started to hurt she tried to gasp for air but couldn't she was over powered by this thing 'I'm gonna die for sure' Luz couldn't stop groaning it hurt so much she couldn't fight back or yell for help 'how is she keep my hands together while covering up my mouth?' They must be really strong to use one hand to keep her hands tied and the other to keep her from screaming,

Luz's body began to feel weak she felt tired and noticed the figure took their fangs out of her neck she felt so much better now that their fangs were out of her she then noticed they pulled something from their pocket and started treating the bite feeling her blood dripping and being wiped off of her neck and clothes then uncovered her mouth soon after luz had heavy breathing luz could breathe better but she didn't bother to fight back not like she didn't want to but like she couldn't she was picked up and placed onto her bed covering her up in a thick blanket "what do you want from me?" The vampire looked at her "its you I want. So i marked you" "you belong to me" the figure left through the window Luz felt where she was bitten her heart was racing "this must be a dream it has to be a dream this isn't real this cant be happening" her eyes began to feel heavy her breathing was now normal everything around her was pitch black before she knew it she then fell asleep. Not noticing the other dark figure in her window "looks like mittens marked someone"

Luz woke up the next day which was the weekend "how long was I asleep for?" "You missed Friday" king cut in "what!" She jumped out of bed grabbed for phone checking the date "how?!" Then luz remembered she walked into the bathroom checked her reflection in the mirror to see the where the bite mark was left covered up "...it wasn't a dream." King hopped on the bathroom counter seeing the mark "Luz? What happened?" He looked worried and scared Luz didn't want to worry him or scare him "its nothing we will finish this conversation later king but right now I'm really hungry" "me to!"

"Hey kids sorry I'm late but im making some eggs and waffles" "yes!"
Eda made a plate for them "eat up kids" luz and king took a seat and started to eat their breakfast

Amity laid in bed sleeping with her face on her pillow woken up by her siblings "hey mittens" she sighed and sat up fixing her hair "what" "so you went out hunting without us" Ed asked "what do you mean" "we saw you lurking around with blood on your face" she remembered the fact she marked luz that night the fact she gave in to her instincts longing to make luz hers the fact now vampires will know she is already taken when they aren't even in a relationship yet or won't be she felt as if she messed up her chances with luz "uh yeah hunting" "well be careful" Edric then got up and left the room emira turned and faced her sister "you marked someone" amity froze "Ed only saw you lurking around in the neighborhood I on the other hand saw you leaving someone's house through their window" she continued "at first I thought you actually killed someone in their home but I checked to see your human still alive with the mark covered up"
Amity was mad at her sister but didn't want to cause anything so she ignored her sister and got out of bed leaving her room to the bathroom

Amity finished up some left over assignments that needed to be taken care of so her mother could stop bugging her for awhile "children family meeting" edric emira amity rushed downstairs taking their seats facing their parents "we will be leaving on another business trip for at least a month Ed and em we expect that you keep mittens out of trouble" amity wanted to leave already she didn't get along well with her siblings most of the time but anything was better then dealing with her parents knowing she can get away with more things while pretending to be a little miss perfect her parents raised her to be  "you got it ma" "good we will be leaving tonight make sure mittens does what she is supposed to and be careful on your hunts the humans are getting smarter you know" and with that they were gone the rest of the time amity stayed in her room working on her homeworks and projects so she could leave sooner to see luz she sent luz a message wondering if they could hangout which she replied quickly that they can which made amity feel a lot better and happier so she continued her work until she arms were sore now she wouldn't have any work to do in a long time. Till next week that is she went down into the kitchen to get a snack so she made herself a sandwich then back into her room to clean up as well

The vampire walked away from her home to meet up with her human luz she felt so excited and happy to see her again she didn't even take her time to get there and as amity finally reached the meeting spot she instantly went up to luz the girl wanted affection from luz a lot more now luz walked up to her and hugged her friend as amity noticed the covered mark to where she had bit her "amity!" Luz smiled the two happy to see each other started to walk around talking getting lost in conversation some people thought it was weird to see a girl with pointy ears but amity didn't care she was with luz and that's all that mattered to her it was the only thing most important "so amity you excited for the dance?" "Yeah honestly" "can't wait!" Luz sat on the park bench as amity sat next to her "so what do you feel like doing?" "I don't know"
Soon it was decided they went to the arcade to win tickets and collect some prizes luz was hooked onto a game that involves moving around and dancing to which amity gave a try for luz her human.. She realized how much fun it was and played multiple rounds with her. Luz soon noticed how protective amity was some people had seen them as girlfriends 'amity wouldn't see me in that way' 'she just probably jealous really easily' so luz chose to ignore the comments being made and continued to play games
