Y/n POV
At some point between now and the detention months ago, we got Norbert out safely uncaught, we weren't as lucky and got caught seeking around after curfew.

Though now it's exam time, a very dreaded time for anyone. We've had to spend late nights, studying. With the help of Hermione it wasn't as bad, though she does do her own study session in the library that we oddly aren't allowed to go to, but maybe she just needs time to focus on her own studies.

Luckily at the moment it seems that there is no movement to retrieving the philosopher's stone, meaning we can focus fully on our studies for the time being.

The homework loads haven't been really getting better as we get closer. I get they are just trying to force us to study through homework. Not a fan to be honest, though I guess no one would be.

The exams start tomorrow and I think I'm ready but knows at this stage. At the moment though we are in class, going over last minute things. The class in question is unfortunately with Snape in the study area.

"Hopefully nothing happens anytime soon with these exams on." I state, getting bored of the work in front of me.

"Shh, we aren't allowed to talk, remember?" Hermione states, with an annoyed look.

"Fine." I state and stay quiet.

The period soon ends and I get out of there to the fresh air only to bump into someone. I look to see who and find I bumped into Emily, the Hufflepuff.

"Sorry." I apologise.

"Turner, you're in a rush." He comments completely disregarding my apology.

"I just could wait to get away from the books for a moment." I state before asking, "Why are you right near the door?"

"I'm waiting for my friends." He states, looking behind me at the door, I just left.

"Riddle and all that?" I question.

"Bingo. Now, you best be off. We wouldn't want your boyfriends getting the wrong idea." He says before walking past and catches up with Riddle and the others.

"Huh? What boyfriends?" I go to ask him up by the time I turn around, they were gone.

Weird.

I head off and soon the soon the day ends, meaning exams. In the end I think I went alright, just a bit jittery for each of them, but once in there I was a bit better. Hopefully I didn't fail any.
