Y/n POV
Quidditch is starting up for the new year and a new seeker for Slytherin has been chosen. Well, that's what's been told. I currently on my way with my friends to find out more about this fact.

Once we reach the courtyard with the Slytherin quidditch team. It is soon revealed that Malfoy is the new seeker.

Is he good at it like Harry?

My question was soon answered when Malfoy talks highly about his father and the money his family has.

To which Hermione says, "At least the Gryffindor's didn't have to buy their way in. They got in by pure talent."

Malfoy fires back with a foreign word to me, 'Mudblood'.

What does that mean?

Though this word seemed to make Ron mad as he tries to fire a curse at Malfoy, only for it to back fire. The curse, soon causes him to puke up slugs.

That's a little gross.

I cringe a little and look away from him, to see a rather annoyed looking Riddle, with her gaze locked on Malfoy and Winter with her arm out.

Was Riddle going to do something?

Later in Hagrid's hut, Hermione and Rin explain that 'Mudblood' is a foul word, which is used to describe Muggleborns.

Oh. Wait, does that mean it was targeted at me too?!

Hermione soon dries the tears that had fell while explaining and the four of them look at me.

"What's wrong?" I question.

"Aren't you effected by it? The word that is, you are a muggleborn yourself." Harry questions.

"Not really. Honestly, I kind just want to know what Riddle would have done to Malfoy, if Winter hadn't of stopped her." I answer.

"Riddle? Why would Riddle care?" Ron questions, as Hermione's face seemed to brighten up a little at the news.

"I'm not really sure. I just noticed that Riddle was starting daggers into Malfoy with Winter blocking her way." I state my findings.

"How odd." Harry comments.

"That doesn't seem very odd to me." Hagrid says, finally speaking up.

"What do you mean? She always seems so distant and uncaring." Harry asks.

"That's the face she puts on so, no one gets close to her. She actually is quite a kind and caring soul but would rather be seen as the bad guy then to be expected to be good." Hagrid's explains.

Shortly after that the conversation died out as we found it a little hard to believe what Hagrid had told us.
