Chapter Eight

"So don't you think it's weird, you being chosen?" Justin asked me. "Totally, like out of all the girls it's me." I say as I flip threw a wedding magizine. "And know look at you all stressed for a wedding dress. You're just 16,wait till you're like 21" Justin said closing the magazine I had. "I know, I know." I said.

"Do you even like Prince William?" He asked me. "He's pretty cool. He's fun to hang out with. I think I kind of do." I said and Justin started to squeling. "How about Edward?" He asked. "He seems fine." I get up rubbing my temple. "He's such a bastard. A control freak, drama king, and he has anger issues." I said. Justin laughed which made me laugh too. "So what are you? What kind of creature?" I asked. "I'm an angel." He said. "Do vampires and angels get along?" I ask. "Well, depends what kind. Evil, good." He said. "Oh." I said while my stomach growled. "Well someone is hungry." Justin said making my cheeks burn.

"Oh my gosh, this is so good." I said as I took a spoonful of the plate of rice with meat Justin ordered for me. He smiled at me. "So what is the meat?" I asked him putting another spoon in my mouth.

"Human guts." He said smirking at me while he took a spoon and chewed slowly then swallowed.

I gasped as I took a napkin and spit it out. "I'm playing!" Justin exclaimed laughing at me. My phone starts to ring. I checked and it was Edward. I answered it. "Mary is dying. Come to the castle quick." He said. I hung up and slapped a twenty dollar bill on the table. "Justin, I have to go." I said as I got up. I closed my eyes and I felt myself floating up. Then I flew to the castle.

I entered into the room and everyone was crowded around Mary. "The cancer is eating me up." She said when she saw me. I put my hands to my mouth as I saw how she looked like. She looked pale and so weak. I realized something. I can heal her. "No honey, there's no need for that." Mary said to me. She could read thoughts. "Please Mary. Please, you have a son." I said as I looked over to William who was crying. "But you have to be queen." She said to me coughing up blood. "No I don't, you're queen and you'll stay queen." I said to her taking her cold hand. "No. You're the chosen one. You need to be queen." She said. "Then resign mom!" William yelled. Everyone turned and looked at him. He went out and slammed the door behind him.

Everyone turned and looked at me. "What?" I asked. Edward gave me the "really" look. Ohhh, they want me to go after William. Edward slapped his hand to his face which made me know he heard my thought. I came out the room and went into William's room.

He was sitting on the bed looking at the wall. I honestly didn't know how to comfort someone. Espicially when it's the person's mother dying. I just sat down next him and looked at the wall he was looking at. I turned to look at William. "William." I whispered. When he turned around it hit me. He had swollen eyes and his nose was all red. My mom died too. My mom died leaving me with my father. I started crying as I hugged William.

He touched his forehead with mine and looked at me. "Look William, we're going to get through this." I whispered to him. He leaned in which made our nose touch. I could feel his faint breathing. He turned his head at an angle and kissed me. I had my eyes open for 1 second because I was surprised but then I closed tjem for the last 4. It was one of those wet but neat kisses.

We looked at each other but didn't smile. Then we went back to looking at the wall.

We all went inside the house and Edward shut the door so loud that everyone jumped up and I tripped on my little trip to the bathroom. Haha tripped on a trip. Thomas gave me the "wtf" look. I'm sorry if I give wack jokes I thought and Thomas smirked. "So about the queen." Edward started and everyone sat down knowing that it's going to be a long meeting with Edward talking throughout the whole thing. I took a seat by Ariel. "I could have healed her. I could do it." I said looking at my soft hands. "Well, why didn't you do it?" Edward snapped. "Because she said no and you were there. Now stop trying to start a fight." I snapped back. "Such a bitch." I heard. "Who called me that?" I asked. Everyone looked at me like I was crazy. Edward rolled his eyes. "And now she's hearing things." I heard. "I'm not hearing things!" I said. "When did you start reading minds?" Thomas asked me. "I guess now." I said. Edward got up and took a deep breath and walked away. Daye looked up from her phone and Ariel was just sleeping.

"What did I do to get him mad now?" I asked.
