Catra POV
It's been officially two years since the war with Prime has ended and it's almost been two years since I found my family. My father is King Jasper of HalfMoon, my mother is Queen Stella of HalfMoon, and my little sister is Princess Jasmine of HalfMoon. And don't get me wrong, I do love my family but sometimes I can't help but think of Adora and what she might be going through.
"Is she happy that I'm gone, does she miss me, does she hate me, did she ever love me like I love her?" My thoughts were interrupted by a knock on the door. "Come in." As the door opened I saw my sister pop her head into my room with a big smile. She didn't have heterochromic eyes like me she had yellow ones like mom.
"Hey sister sorry to interrupt your time but, ma and dad said that we need you to make these last decisions for your returning party." Ever since I wondered a-pond the City HalfMoon, I was told that I was a princess of the lost city that the horde had destroyed years ago. They took me thinking that I would have some used to the horde so they drop me off in the Fright zone.
But since I didn't show any signs of having powers, they just left me with the horde. Then the whole war happened and me turning into a giant fire cat really change things. "Yeah alright, I'm on my way." And ever since I came back they've been throwing a Kingdom wide party, celebrating my return.
And every time we celebrate I feel honored and happy to be around the ones that love me. But I still can't help but wonder how Adora is doing.
One exhausting day of decisions later
I walked back into my room exhausted from the day. I was so tired, my feet hurt from walking all day and I could feel the bags on my eyes. But at least now I could rest. I flopped onto my bed and I laid my head on my pillow ready to go to sleep.
But then I heard a knock on my door, and groaned into my pillow "No, no more decision making, save it for tomorrow." I reluctantly sat up and yawned "Come in." My mom walked in "Hey, sorry for interrupting your sleep fire cat." Mom said and she sat on my bed.
"Na, it's ok, what's up ma?" She scooted closer to me. "Well, your father, sister, and I have been talking and we were wondering if you would be comfortable with us inviting the princesses you told us about to your returning party?" I felt my heart drop, at least I wasn't tired anymore.
"Wait, wait, WHAT! Why would all of you want to bring the other princesses here, let alone around me. I've told you all the terrible things I've done to them." I hugged my knees and rapped my tail around my ankles. "I know but you've changed since then, you're not the same person you were two years ago. I'm sure if the princesses see that then maybe you could get along with them." I mean she's not wrong I have changed ever since I left. I got my anger issues under control, I'm not as harsh to people, I don't manipulate them to do what I want.
This change is good, but it might not be good for them, or her. "Let's just put this at a maybe. I mean the party is four weeks from now so I don't have to decide right away, right?" She nodded and hugged me. "Right, take all the time you need to think it over." She kissed me on the forehead. "Goodnight fire cat, love you." " Love you too ma, night." She shut the door and I slowly started to doze off to sleep.
