It was nerve wracking to say the least, Guren was very unpredictable and you haven't got much time to know him or his antics. Sure you knew how he could be playful and banter around with you guys but actually disciplining you and give consequences was probably a first.

You and Yuu walked in silence side by side inside the abandoned crusty musty building and went up the steps of a non-working escalator, you followed where Guren's squad mate was heading as you guys were several steps back. It was kind of gross and smells like dust, if anyone had hay fever they would have passed away three seconds ago.

"What do you think is gonna happen?" You pipe up, breaking the silence.

Yuu turns his head to you and shrugs, "Not really sure, are you nervous?"

"Maybe, this could mean big trouble or nothing at all, right?" You spoke softly, only the sounds of your feet thumping heavily on the stairs and heavy breaths can be heard. Yuu eyes your expression and smiles.

"It's okay don't worry, you got me alright. I won't let anything bad happen to us." He reassures you as you reach the top of the stairs. You return his smile and nod. You guys got this.

Shinoa's P.O.V

It's been half an hour already. 

I let out a sigh and rubbed my sweaty palms together as the squad stands close by doing their own thing. We were all clearly guilty and dreading what could be happening next.

It's like knowing you're gonna get grounded and be in trouble as a kid all over again. 

 It was really weird yet heartwarming, Yuu's new persona and attitude towards us was definitely something. Calling us family and treating us way more softly, it was- I couldn't put a finger on what it was. It's definitely best to ignore that for now. 

Thoughts like these are way more active and annoying during times like these, it's a good way to let the nerves loose, distract yourself.

My thoughts were cut off as we all heard a scream echo from inside the building.

"That's Yuu-kun!" Yoichi cried as he pointed towards the building.

We all turned our heads toward him and looked at each other and nodded. 

Looks like a rescue mission is about to commence.

We all ran towards the building and immediately busted the doors to get inside. Yuu was still screaming and sounds like he's struggling over something.  Where the hell is Y/N? Why can't we hear her? She wouldn't let this happen to Yuu! Something' definitely off.

Mitsuba lead the way and ran up the old escalator and we followed shortly with her in the front, me next, Yoichi behind me, and Kimizuki on our tails. She finally got on top of the stairs and gasped. As we got there with the boys behind me, we all let out surprised noises as we saw the scene unfold.  

Yuu was tied up from the ceiling with a rope from his waist and his hands bound together, there was a piece of cloth tied to his mouth and he was struggling to get everything off him, letting out grunts and swears as he kicks the air below him. Looking down, he wasn't just bound and hung, nope he was not. 

He was left dangling over a fire, there was a big flower pot below him that was on fire and it was really big that the flames were licking his uniform and could possibly swallow him if he wasn't kicking.

"How the fuck did they get him up there!? We gotta put out the fire!" Mitsuba screamed as she looked at us. Yoichi and Kimizuki immediately squared up, let out their cursed gears, and quickly approached Yuu with Mitsuba trailing behind. I was left standing there, stunned at what's happening.
