We could've done something about them! But noooo! Shinoa just had to retreat and be a coward. Okay, I'm starting to talk like Yuu I better stop and follow some orders!

You shook your head from all the thoughts coming in your head and started running faster to catch up to the squad and pulled Yuu with you since he is nagging Shinoa and is getting distracted.

"Okay! Why the hell didn't we attack?!" You exclaimed throwing your arms up and pointed your cursed gear back where you guys saw the vampires. "Yeah we could've slayed those bastards!" Yuu teamed up with you. "Shut up! Both of you!" Mitsuba screamed and pushed the both of you. "Listen up squad!" Shinoa took all of the attention. "It's for the best." Shinoa started. "And how is that supp-!" Shinoa cut Yuu off. "If we attacked we would've run out of time. And I knew that the both of you woulfn't listen to my strategy if we ever attacked. I ordered you to stay in your formation but both of you attacked that horseman when it clearly is a trap." Shinoa scolded you and Yuu. You clicked your tongue and sheathed your cursed gear. Of all the years I trained with vampires I didn't know there was a trick like that... You thought. "Yeah whatever, where are we going now?!" Yuu crossed his arms. "Follow me. I asked the girl where we shoud go she said go to the terminal there are livestocks there."

You hold on to Yuu since you could only see outlines of stuff here. "Y/n, what the hell is going on with you?! It's not even that dark in here!" Yuu shook you and held you by your waist to guide you around the dark. You shook your head and your vision is back to normal again but... You got too dizzy you trip over Yuu's feet and you almost fell down you hold on to Yuu's shoulders and Yuu pulled up your waist and carried you bridal style. "Guys! Something's wrong with Y/n!" Yuu yelled. "You guys stay here!" Shinoa ordered. You pushed Yuu away. "I'm fine Shinoa. I just tripped." You explained. Yuu put you down and held your wrist. "Are you sure?" He stared at you intently. "Yes Mum..." You rolled your eyes.

You walked ahead and left Yuu standing there dumbfounded because you called him his mum. "Y/n-san are you sure you're okay?" Yoichi asked you. "I'm fine you guys."

Shinoa lead the way to the location the girl said. You are beside Kimizuki, Yoichi and Yuu behind you, Shinoa and Mitsuba leading the way.

"Acting smart but still ending up in traps." A voice said following a cackle. All of you looked up to the voice and saw the vampires you encountered earlier. Shit. It's an ambush. I should've let that kid die.

They wasted no time and started attacking. You quickly unsheathed your cursed gear and blocked one of the vampires that went straight to you. "You little bitch! Attacking so arrogantly huh?!" You kicked the vampires and held his collar and threw him in the air. You finished him by cutting him in half. You looked behind you and saw that Blondie is struggling with the vampire and another one is about to attack her from behind so you ran to help her. You swung your scythe and cut the vampire's head off. Yuu stabbed the one infront of Blondie. The other three finished off the rest. You looked down and saw Mitsuba dumbfounded sitting on the ground staring at both of you.
