In a mystical island far, far away, lies a secret world named Everblade. Everblade is the home of the most powerful Dragons. They're magical creatures that comes in many different species, who's each have they're very own special unique powers, and lived in perfect harmony.
It is also the home of 2 powerful Dragons who ruled Everblade side by side. They're names were King Drex and Queen Isla. They were both 'Royalty Dragons', and Drex's family ruled Everblade for many generations. So it's finally their child's turn to rule their dragon home.
One day, when Queen Isla laid her first egg, and found out its gender, she says "My King, I have amazing news, we're finally gonna have a child". The king was very excited as she continues. "And I found out that... It's gonna be a girl!". She said very excited. Then, King Drex's excitement started to fade after hearing the news.
"What do you mean that it's gonna be a girl!?" he asked angrily. "I can't have a girl! My family who ruled this kingdom are all males, and I can't let some 'girl' ruin it for me! It's bad luck". After what King Drex said, Queen Isla yelled in a serious tone, "Well, I don't care what you think, but what I know that our daugther is gonna be a wonderful ruler for Everblade! In fact, she'll be a better ruler than you!".
"How dare you say that!? I have ruled this kingdom for many years, and this is what you pay me in return!? Shame on you!", he said, being even more mad. Then, Queen Isla replied in an angry tone, "No, YOU should be ashame of yourself, I'm keeping our daughter whether you like it or not! And one day, when she becomes Queen of Everblade, YOU WILL REGRET IT!".
After hearing what she said, King Drex snapped and said, "Well, if that's how it's gonna be then, you left me no choice. GUARDS, TAKE HER AWAY AND SENTENCE HER TO DEATH!!!". The guards did as the King's told and she was sent to the Dragon Dungeon, where Royalty Dragons who have broken the rules or step out of line were punished to death.
Queen Isla begged him not to do it, but the king refused. She keeps on begging but King Drex already made his decision. Finally she gave in and accepted her punishment in tears. So, Queen Isla was killed to death by her own husband, while leaving her dragon egg behind.
After finally got rid of Queen Isla, King Drex sent one of his guards to take the queen's egg far away from Everblade. After 7 days of their journey, the guards left Queen Isla's egg on a Sakura Tree in Freshwater Valley, and that is where Sakura's life begins.
