Chapter 6 : The Wolf and The Tiger

After 2 hours of travelling, Athena and the Dragons made it to Northern Mountain. The Dragons took a glance at the mountain and Prisma said confidently "Pftt... This is easy. All we have to do is climb up this mountain and we'll be at the top in no time." Then, Athena noticed a pair of emerald green eyes and shouted "W-wait Prisma-" But before she could say anything, Prisma is already climbing up the mountain.

"See, I told you it eas-" "GRRR!!" "W-What was that??" asked Prisma frightened. His words were disturbed by a loud growl. Before Prisma can even look, there was a vicious white Northern wolf who's covered in Dragon scales, that is about to attack Prisma. Seeing that his life is at stake, Lightning warned "PRISMA, LOOK OUT!!" "Ahhh!" screamed Prisma as he escaped the wolf's attack."Thanks for warning me, Lightning." thanked Prisma. "Don't mention it." replied Lightning.

The wolf glared at the Dragons and Athena and was about to attack them with impact when another person's voice was heard from inside the cave "Kitty, please knock it off. They're not worth it, just come inside and help me out." He sigh and said "Yes sweetie, I'll be right there. You guys are lucky that I won't hurt you. Now leave, before I do something to make you guys regret." After that, he went inside his cave. "Anyways, who is that guy Athena?" asked Crystal confused.

Then Athena answered "That's Chris, the Northern Soul Wolfdragon hybrid." "A Wolfdragon hybrid!? I thought this place was for Dragons only." said Prisma. "Not exactly... Some Mythic Creatures have claimed a few parts of Everblade as their home and territory. Most of them are hybrids, just like him." Then she turned back to the mountain "It looks like we have no choice but to climb up this mountain and go inside Chris's cave, since it's a shortcut to get to the top of this mountain."

Sakura was a little bit nervous but she was determined and said "Athena's right. As long as we keep quiet, he won't even know we're here." "Sounds good to me" said Prisma. So Athena and the Dragons climb up the mountain and went inside Chris's cave. Once they were inside the cave, the Dragons were mesmerised and Blaze said loudly "WOW!! I have to admit, this place is pretty nice!" Her voice was so loud, that Chris heard it and was coming right towards them. Hearing his footsteps, Blaze was worried and said "Oops... I shouldn't said that so loud."

When Chris saw the Dragons, he was so mad and yelled "W-what the heck are you guys doing here!? I JUST told you guys to- Ugh, you know what, THAT'S IT!!" Chris was about to attack the Dragons when suddenly, a black Nightlight tiger appeared who's covered in Phoenix feathers stopped him and said "Easy there Kitty. What's going on? And also, uhh... Why are there 6 gigantic coloured dinosaurs in our cave?" Hearing the tiger's question, Prisma was super offended and yelled "Hey! What did you just called us!? We ARE Dragons, not 'Dinosaurs' you ugly black hairball!!"

Chris was so mad at what Prisma said, that he stood right in front of the tiger and shouted at him while grabbing his neck "LISTEN HERE YOU VILE CREATURE!! Don't you DARE call my husband a-" "Husband??" Chris was disturbed by Sakura who was confused and asked "W-wait a second. That black cat of yours is, YOUR husband?" After hearing that he was exposed, he let go of Prisma's neck and looked down while lowering his head. He blushed and mumbled in a sheepish voice "Mfghh... Yess... B-but it's not like I like him or anything."

He was a little embarrassed when suddenly Chris's husband giggled and said "Hihihi... Come on Kitty. Just admit it~" "Jackson, don't make do this!" said Chris still blushing. He was still hesitant to say it, but Jackson keeps on begging him. After a lot of begging from him, Chris finally said it. "I-It's just, I can't tell them that I am crazy in love with you Idiot!!" "You just said it though~" teased Jackson while smirking at him. Chris was flustered and buried his face with his paws and grumbled.

Jackson giggled then turned back to the Dragons "Don't mind him. He's a tsundere." "I'm not a tsundere Jackson and you know that!" yelled Chris still burying his face in shame. "Hihihi... Sorry I didn't get a chance to introduced myself. My name's Jackson and this is Chris, my sweet wolf husband." Jackson winked at Chris who is still mad at him. "Well it's nice to meet you two. I'm Sakura and these are my friends Blaze, Lightning, Prisma, and Crystal. And that is my Dragon mentor, Athena."

"We're on a quest to the Heart of Everblade, but we kinda got stumbled into your cave. Do you mind-" "Oh, don't mind at all. You guys can rest here for a little while." said Jackson kindly. "Until then, me and Jackson here are gonna have a private talk in our room." said Chris while grabbing his paw and left. The Dragons then rest in Chris and Jackson's cave while they went into their room.

"JACKSON, WHY DID YOU EXPOSED US LIKE THAT!!?" yelled Chris angrily, while grabbing Jackson's shoulders. He was a bit confused and asked "But Kitty, didn't you exposed us yourself? After all, you did tell that white male Dragon that I'm your husband." After Chris realized it, he let go of Jackson's shoulders and said "Oh yeah, you're right. I did exposed us, I can't believe I didn't even realized it. I'm such an idiot." while faceplaming himself.

Jackson looked at his husband and smiled, then he gently grabbed his face while pulling him closer to an intimate hug. He kissed Chris's forehead and whispered "My idiot~" Chris lowered down his ears then snuzzles close to him and purred softly. "Do you like it Kitty?" asked Jackson while stroking his husband's head "Mmhhm~" nodded Chris. As they continued their wholesome moment, Sakura peeked through the door and thought "Aww... They're so cute together. I guess I'll leave them alone for a while."
