Y/n's POV:

It was 14th July, Vinnie's birthday. I have been crushing on him since I moved to LA but he doesn't seem to have any interest in me.

Thomas was throwing a party for Vinnie and I knew there were going to be girls all over him so I didn't really want to attend the party but at the same time I live in the same house the party is going to be in.

I go downstairs to the kitchen and see Mia putting candles on a cake. We didn't cut the cake last night as Vinnie was tired as went to sleep early.

Mia- Good morning y/n!
Y/n- Morning Mia!
Mia- We are gonna go suprise Vinnie with this cake you wanna come?
Y/n- Um yea sure.

Thomas, Mia, Jake, Jack, Tabitha and I go to Vinnie's room and open the door. (Ever heard of knocking people?😀✋)

"Happy Birthday Vin!!" we all say at the same time. Vinnie shoots up from the bed and falls on the floor which makes us laugh.

Vinnie- What the fuck guys?
Thomas- Sorry but we got you cake atleast.
Vinnie- Thank you.
Mia- Come on now cut the cake.
Jake- Yeah I'm really hungry to eat some cake.
Jake winks at Vinnie and he flips him off.

We sing happy birthday as Vinnie cuts the cake. Everyone leaves the room except me. I wanted to ask him if it was okay if i didn't attend his party.

Y/n- Hey Vinnie.
Vinnie- Hey Y/n.
Y/n- Do you mind if I don't attend your party?
Vinnie- Why? I do mind.
Y/n- Well you see-
Vinnie cuts me off
Vinnie- See what?
Y/n- I just don't feel like partying today.
Vinnie- You're lying. You never feel like partying. But come on it's my birthday.
Y/n- I've got work to do I have a test in a few days. (Let's pretend you go to college.)
Vinnie- But-
Y/n- No buts I'm not coming and that's it.

You say and leave the room. Vinnie comes behind you and pins you to the wall which gives you numerous butterflies. He stares you dead in the eye and then moves his mouth close to your ear and whispers.

Vinnie- Don't you dare leave the room like that again or you will regret it. And I would love it if you attended the party. You're the only reason why I'm coming, so you better be there sweetheart.

He kisses me on the cheek and goes back to his room. Oh my godness! Was that a dream? Am I dreaming? I slap myself. Ouch. It's not a dream. Did he actually call me sweetheart?
