"Jolly good," Caroline said into the radio. She had accepted what she could not change in the world and decided to go back to doing what she did best. The price to rejoin MI6 at the top had to be paid in blood but as she told Pam "feelings were at best a nuisance," and she had to make her peace with that. Better to be alive than to be righteous.

Elsewhere Eve swam to shore and began walking along the river, she walked a least a mile down, freezing in her water-soaked clothes. Finally, she spotted a bench up ahead and took a seat.

Looking out onto the black water she thought over everything that had just happened when she heard someone approach from behind.

Dressed in dark fatigues a man sat down next to her.

"Well, did they buy it?" she asked.

And he started pulling away some of his latex disguise from his face revealing Yusuf.

"She said jolly good, after the two of you went overboard, so I think we can assume she did."

A splash in front of them takes their attention back to the water as Villanelle surfaces from the Thames climbing out to join them.

"She'd better, I've been wearing these squibs all day," Villanelle says.

"This is really what it takes to make you happy, an amusing sociopath?" he asks.

"Hey, I am also beautiful," Villanelle tells him.

Eve smiles, "as strange as it is, yes."

"Well everyone thinks you're dead, they won't be after you, go live your strange happily ever after."

Eve looks at Villanelle, "I intend to," she says as Villanelle smiles back.
