(Hey guys I'm back with another chapter😋)
*one week later*
Jo has been getting used to kindergarten and is now getting the hang of everything. Those 4 boys that she met on her first day are still trying to talk to her. So far she has only talked to Calum. Jo kinda thinks he is cute so she just wants to know him for right now.
She was on the playground swinging on the swings when Luke came up to her. He just stood there for a moment but then it looked like he was gonna say something.
"Hi Luke. Are you okay?" Jo asked
"Oh...uhhhhh...yeah...bye" said a nervous sounding Luke.
"That was weird." Said Jo under her breath.
Later on that day at snack time Calum came up to Jo. He had something in his hand but Jo couldn't see what it was.
"What do you got there Calum?" Jo asked being curious like usually.
"Oh it's ummmm....nothing....uhhh...but umm...me and the other boys were wondering if you wanted to come to the park with us this weekend?"
"Uhhh...maybe I'm not sure I have to ask my parents and they need to talk to your guys parents. But we will see." Replied Jo.
"Ohh alright then. Well I hope you can come. We really want to get to know you better and be your friend."

*at dinner time*
"How was kindergarten today sweetie?" Asked Jo's father
"Good I guess. Those boys I told you about want me to go with them to the park this weekend. I'm not sure if I want to though. I don't know them that well." Replied Jo
"Well that was nice of them to ask. You need some friends. There is still a few more days till the weekend so just think about it. But if you make up your mind just let us know so we can talk to the boy's parents about it."
"Okay daddy." Said Jo
That night, at bedtime Jo was thinking about how she did need some friends. She was very surprised when her dad of all people said that she could go to the park with 4 boys. She guessed that since she isn't really into the girly stuff that having boys as friends would be okay.
I think I might be able to warm up to these boys and be their friend. Jo thought before going to sleep.
