"Princess, how cute is this?" He asked and he pointed towards a short pink bridesmaid dress. In a few of weeks, my father was getting married to Melissa. It made me absolutely sick to my stomach but he dragged me out of the house and took me dress shopping.
"Can I get something to eat?" I asked and yawned. Don't get me wrong, I wasn't trying to be rude but we had been in the same store for an hour. I was starting to get tired and hungry.
"Sure, but get a salad or something because we're having dinner soon" He instructed and handed me the money. He continued looking around the store as I walked out of the store. I walked into a grocery store and went to get a salad. It was a Saturday afternoon, so the stores were packed. I grabbed the salad and quickly walked towards the checkout line. I cued up and after a while, my phone vibrated, indicating that I had received a text message. I knew it was my father, checking up on me and since he absolutely hated when I ignored his text messages, I quickly pulled my phone out of my pocket.
When I did do that, I accidentally dropped the salad and my phone on the floor. I also bumped into a boy, but I wasn't really worried about him, I was worried about my phone screen. I payed no attention to the boy and I quickly got down to grab my things."Sorry about that" He apologised, his
voice deep and soothing.
"Honestly, it-" I stopped talking when I looked up at the boy. He was on a whole other level of sexy, I mean he put all the other boys to shame. He stood about 6'1, his skin was a milk chocolatey colour and their were these waves on his head that reminded me of
the beautiful sea."Hello, you there?" He asked, breaking me out of my day dream.
"Sorry, what did you say?" I asked.
"I said sorry for bumping in to you, I didn't see you there" He laughed.
"What do you mean?" I asked him.
"You're so short, I didn't see you there" He said with a small laugh"What's your name?" He asked.
"Tamera" I said and smiled . "What about you?" I asked, curious.
"Christian but you can call me Chris, baby girl" He responded, biting his bottom lip. "How about we exchange numbers?" He asked. I thought about whether I should give my number or not. I hardly knew him, he could be a serial killer, for all I know. But on the other hand, he seemed like a cool guy.
"Sure" I said as I handed him my phone and he did the same. He quickly put his number in my phone and I did the same, we then handed each other our phones back. "Be on the lookout for my next call" He smiled before walking his separate way. Was it possible to fall in love so quickly?
