The next morning, Natalie came over to our house. She said over the phone that she needed to talk to me. I knew she was going to say some foul shit about Christian but I still invited her over. I knew she cared for me but did she really need to act like my mother all the damn time? If I wanted to leave Christian, I would have but I just had so much love for him; that I couldn't. Alyssa and Christian were both in the Kitchen while me and Natalie were in the living room. Throughout mine and Natalie's conversation, Christian was just glaring at me with a worried look on his face.

"Babes, you need to leave him and take her with you" She whispered.
"But just look how happy she is when she's with him" I told her.
"Do you want her to grow up thinking this is normal?" She asked me.
"She is never in the room when he does these things to me" I told her.
"But she's in the house, isn't she?" She asked me. "You can come stay with me, I'll care for you" She suggested.
I thought about it for a minute before shaking my head. "I have tried to help you in every way possible but I guess you don't need it, Delete my number" She rudely told me as she stood up.

"Bye Natalie" Christian yelled, trying to purposely wind Natalie up.
"Nat" I yelled and got up to hug her.
"Please" She whispered in my ear and got out from our hug. She then looked at me once more before leaving the house. She did have a point but Alyssa absolutely loved him and most of the time it was my fault. That's what he use to tell me; that I angered him or that I annoyed him and I believed him. I knew he was never gonna change but he was such a good father to Alyssa; I just coudn't leave.
