"What took you so long?" He yelled as I walked through the store door.
"There was a really long cue" I said, lying straight through me.
"Well, I found you a dress" He said, changing the subject completely. I was quite shocked he did that but I was also glad. Last thing I wanted to do was to explain what happened in the store with Christian to my father, he would ground me forever. "Where is it?" I asked. I was eager to find out what he had picked for me. He soon pointed towards a white body-con dress and my jaw dropped. It was short, tight and truly beautiful.
"I'm glad you like it" He laughed. "But princess, make sure you pick it up the day before the wedding" He told me.We soon walked out of the store and I immediately got out my phone. I just had to tell someone, all about the whole Christian situation. Of-course, the perfect person to tell would be my best friend, Natalie. Me and her were like two peas in a pod, we grew up in the same neighbourhood together, back in Atlanta. But, later on we had to stop talking to each other because her father had a job in California and she had to move houses. I thought I would never speak to her again but luckily I had to move to California too.
I quickly started to text her everything in full detail while we walked to the parking lot. We got into our car and my father started the engine. He soon started driving but unusually he was driving really fast. I didn't think anything of it and continued texting. Before I knew it, my father had hit a tree and the car had completely flipped over. Although, I might've been scared, I tried to stay calm. Well, that was until I realised my father had stopped breathing. I then tried stepping out of the car but I couldn't even move one inch of my body. Loads of thoughts started to flood through my head. Have I possibly just lost the only parent I had left in this world? The thoughts soon started to fade away and every thing went pitch black.
