I sat on the couch, fiddling with my thumbs as the cop questioned me. For some weird reason; she was asking me so many questions. I started to feel like the culprit for a split second.
"Thank you for your time" She said as she stood up and walked to the door.
"What about my daughter?" I asked.
"Give it forty eight hours and we will have to get social services involved" She explained and opened the door. I left it at that and watched her walk out of the house. I didn't want to get on a bad side of a officer. I closed the door and walked back to the couch. As I did that, there was a knock at the door. What if the person at the door was the same person who took Alyssa?I was curious and opened the door. There was nobody there but the cop's car was still there. The cop was laying on the floor; dead. I looked down at the floor and see a yellow post it note. I quickly picked it up and shut the door; making sure it was locked. I literally ran to the couch and quickly started to read the note. It was written in messy hand writing, meaning the person who wrote it was in a rush.
*You got the cops on me? Bitch. Can I not just talk to you? I've changed, I just want a positive family. I just want to spend some time with my daughter*
I immediately knew it was Christian. He was finally back and he was back for her. He was here to ruin my life, once again but where exactly was he? And how exactly did he possibly find us? Do I call the cops again or do I call the person who said they never want to see my face again; my father?
