He walked quietly through the night streets of Konoha that were illuminated by the lights of the shops and street lamps. He was on his way home, which he shared with the black-haired girl, his teammate, best friend and girlfriend.

He arrived at the door of his house and stood there dying of nerves for what he was planning to do, he put his hand in his pants pocket to touch the small box to cheer himself up.

After a few minutes that seemed like hours, he finally decided to go inside.
Once inside, he approached the living room where there was no one, in the distance he heard a humming sound coming from one of the rooms, more specifically, his own.

He smiled warmly and walked slowly to the room he shared with her.

As he reached the door to her room he could see that it was ajar, leaving a small space that allowed him to see inside.

He brought his face close to the opening and observed Sarada sitting on the seat by the window tending to a pot containing a beautiful Rose bush without thorns, which was rare, as all Rose bushes have thorns.
After meditating for a while he realized that this rose bush did not have thorns because he had removed them years ago when he and Sarada were infants, but there was something that did not fit here and that was ..... How on earth had he survived so many years? Or how did it become a rosebush if he only plucked a stalk?

Still deep in thought, he stood there in the middle of the hallway without entering the room.

-Are you going in or are you going to stand there all night?- he heard Sarada ask, who now had her full attention on the door.

The blond was embarrassed that he had been caught spying, so he carefully entered the room fearing to receive a blow from his girlfriend.

-What were you doing standing there watching me like a stalker?- he asked in a mocking voice.

-I'M NOT A STALKER, STALKER!- he shouted with flushed cheeks -YOU ARE A STALKER!-

-I'm not a stalker!- she shouted indignantly.

-Yes, you are! Or do I have to remind you who followed me and watched me on the sly at the Academy?-

The black-haired girl blushed strongly when she heard the blond's words.

-I wasn't stalking you Baka-Boruto!- she shouted embarrassed.

-Then what were you doing chasing me all over the place?-

-Nothing important....- she answered turning her head to a place where the blond couldn't see her red face.

-Well, changing the subject, ....., where did you get that rose bush?- he approached the plant while he curiously looked at each and every rose on it and indeed, none of them had thorns.

The blonde girl blushed even more than she already was, if that was even possible.

-Yo..... I bought it...-
