“What do you mean?” Adam asked.
“I mean exactly what I say. There is a way to change your mate.”
“How is that possible?” Daisy asked me.
“We are told as children that we are born for one person and one person only. I have recently discovered this to be a lie. When we are born there are two or more people that we can be mated to you just have to move down the list. Number one on my list was Josh number two on my mate list is Zach.” I showed them the side of my neck where Zach had placed his mark.
“That’s impossible!” Josh roared at me.
“No, it’s not. You all lied to me, and when I found out about us being mates I got shipped off to boarding school.”
“What are we lying about?” Tyra asked.
“You’re not lying about anything. Those guys on the other hand are. They were lying about the fact that they’re not my real parents. I know about my birth mother. I know how she died and I know what you guys think. You wish I would have died in those few days she was dead. You can deny it all you want but I know the truth. I know that since you found out about me and Josh you have hated me even more.”
“That’s not true we have always loved you. We have always wanted you. When those people came to us to give you to us we were so excited.”
“Alpha we need you!” John one of our fighters came in.
“What!” Adam screamed at him.
“We have rouges on our land.”
“Sage your coming with me. Josh before you argue stay her with your pregnant fiancée.” I followed behind adam and ran into the forest. We changed into wolf form putting our clothes in our mouths. When we came to where the rest of our wolves were there was a big female white wolf. Behind her were a cub, the cub had a car seat in between her teeth. I ran behind a tree and changed. When I ran back out Adam was standing over the female with his teeth close to her neck.
“Stop!” I screamed running in front of her.
“Shift” I ordered her.
“Please don’t kill me.” The woman pleaded. Her long blonde hair was flowing around her naked back. He blue eyes staring back at me. Adams back was standing right next to me.
“What are you doing here?” he asked her menacingly.
“My husband the alpha of our pack was killed by rouges along with the rest of our pack. I had to run to keep our kids safe.” She cried
“please honey take care of my children.” The woman cried before her eyes rolled into the back of her head. The cub walked over to her putting the car seat down on the ground before nuzzling her mother. I picked up the car seat right as the cub shifted.
“mommy. Mommy”!” the little girl yelled. I picked her up in my arms before slowly walking away.
“No we cant leave mommy.” The little girl tried to plead with me.
“We have to, this is what mommy would want sweetie.” I replied to her. I started to walk back to the house, which is a good 10 miles away from here.

“what are we going to do with the children.” Adam asked us.
“Why not let Tyra take theme in she needs the experience.” Josh said.
“No I am taking them. I want then. Plus one is 10 and too old for Tyra to work with. The other one is 7 weeks and there is no way in hell that I would leave him with her.” I spat
“How can you take care of them?” Adam asked
“ I have an apartment and money. I will do this. Now if you don’t mind im taking the children home.”
