Chapter 26 <3

I left the doctor’s office in a daze. I can’t believe I’m pregnant. How did this happen? Well I know how it happened, but why now? Nothing is going right for Zach or me.  How am I supposed to tell him? What if he doesn’t want this baby I mean we already have two.

“Mommy can I go play?” Addison asked as we walked into the house.

“Just make sure you bundle up. We don’t need you getting sic okay?” She nodded before throwing on her winter clothes and heading outside to play in the endless snow. Crying is what finally snapped me out of my thoughts on how I’m going to tell Zach.

“Come on Grey I think it’s time for you to take a nap?” Greyson just looked up and as soon as he seen me he stopped crying. I picked him up and started to walk to his room. How did we get into such a huge mess? I looked back down at my baby boy to see him smiling up at me while playing with a lock of my hair. He is so perfect.

I put Grey in his crib and turned on the baby monitor. He is really good at taking his naps and sleeping through the night. Turning off the lights I walked to the kitchen. No matter what happens I got to keep my head up and I’m trying. I can’t stand my family anymore and I don’t want my children to have to grow up without them but I don’t want them to grow up with them either.

After getting dinner started I decided to watch some T.V while Addison played with her toys. The first show that comes on is one about a pregnant teenager and all I can think about is how I’m just like her now. Except instead of the baby daddy leaving mine is hopefully going to stay.

“Hey baby.” Zach said before kissing my cheek. I think I jumped about a foot into the air.

“Zach you scared the crap out of me.” I said while throwing a hand over my chest to my non beating heart.

“How was your day?” He asked as he sat down next to me.

“I don’t know I’ll tell you when my heart starts beating again.” I said in a breathless tone.

“I am so sorry I thought you heard me come in.”

“No I didn’t but to answer your question our day was weird.” I said searching for the right words.

“What do you mean weird?”

“Well the kid’s appointment went well, but when I asked the doctor about myself I found out some interesting news.” I said again searching for the right words. How exactly does one tell her teenage boyfriend about how he is going to be a daddy?

“What kind of news?”

“Well daddy um just that they now why I have been throwing up.” Zach gave me a very confused look before he registered what I had said and how I had said it.

“I’m going to be a daddy?” Zach asked. His blue eyes started to shine as happiness filled them.

“Yes Zach you are going to be a daddy. Again I should say.” Zach reached over and put his hand on my nonexistent baby bump. His blue eyes filling with unshed tears. I was so happy that he wasn’t mad all I could do was kiss him. It was like a flash back as soon as it happened. I remembered the first time we kissed in his truck after our first date. It was only about 3 months ago but it feels like years. I can’t believe I’m a 17 year old soon to be mommy.
