Chapter 8*!

I walked outside the school only to be thrown over someone’s shoulder. I looked over to see that Lex was on the persons other shoulder. We both smiled before looking down to see Zach. He smiled up at us before setting us down by our cars.

“Well someones happy today!” Lex yelled.

“Why wouldn’t I be happy? I have an amazing date tonight.” He looked over at me before looking at Lex.

“I know I have heard about it all day. Im so happy for you guys.” She walked over to me before giving me the ‘We need to talk’ look.

“Um Lex would you mind coming home with me to get ready and stuff?” I asked her.

“Sure.” She hopped in her car and buckled up. I looked over at Zach.

“Ill see you at 7.”I hopped into my car and took off for my house. When got there Lex jumped on me.

“Look I really am happy for you, but I need to know are the rumors true?”

“What rumors?”

“The rumors about why you left?”

“I left for personal reasons. Why what is everyone saying?”
“That you left because you were pregnant.”

“I was so not even old enough to be pregnant back then.”

“then why did you leave.” I looked at her before grabbing her hand and dragging her inside the house. I called out for anyone but realized that no one was home. I dragged her all the way up to my room before dropping her hand.

“I will tell you but you have got to promise me you wont ever tell anyone. Not even if we get in the biggest fight in history.”

“I promise.”

I took a deep breath before I started to tell my story.

“When I was a little kid I found out who my mate was. Unfortunately we can never ever be together no matter how bad I may want it. When I came back I thought things would be different. I thought I could handle seeing him. Thing is though the more I see him the more it hurts. Icould always feel when he was with someone else in THAT way, but now its even more intensified because the girl he is with is pregnant. I’ve vowed I would find myself a new mate. I know it is pretty much impossible but im going to figure it out. I cant live like this. My mate is Josh.”

“Josh! Are you kidding me?” I shook my head no I couldn’t say anything I was froze.

“I’m sorry boo. “She walked over to me and hugged me like there was no tomorrow.

“It’s fine I was just worried you would think that I was a freak or something. I don’t know what the gods had in mind when they thought this one through but I going to fight. I like Zach and I want it to work.”

“Good Zach is a good guy and I would hate to see him get hurt. But I have to tell you a secret. His sister Jocelyn is a total bitch. If she thinks you’re too good for him or the other way around she will kill you no matter who you are.”

“Thanks.”

“Your very welcome.”           

“Can we just get me ready for my date? Please.”

4Hours Later.

I heard the doorbell ring and I immediately know it is Zach. I can’t wait till he sees me. I hope I look as beautiful as I felt.

My long black hair was curled and pinned up with a few pieces of hair framing my face. I am wearing a knee high pink sun dress and pink stiletto heels. Not something I would wear everyday but Lex insisted. She said that I needed to make Josh sorry for everything he has done to me. Including all the times he cheated.

“Wow you look amazing.” I looked at Zach to find him wearing nice jeans and a red nice shirt. No emo clothes for once. I have to say he cleans upp good but I like him better when he is being himself. I like his emoness.

“You look pretty good yourself.”

“I love you boo bye baby.” I looked behind me to see Lex was leaving.

“Are you ready?”

“Yeah.” Zach grabbed my hand and Josh growled. I looked over at him and he was red as a tomato. I reached up on my tip toes and kissed Zach on the cheek. He smiled at me and then laughed.

“I love hearing you laugh.” I told him earning me another growl from Josh.

“Lets go cutie.” He pulled me out the door and into his truck.

“Get ready for the date of your life.”
